He took at most 3 minutes to assess the problem and get to work. He (I was distracted with the visitors and didn't note his name) clearly explained the defect in the old part and demonstrated how it should work; was willing to take more time to explain/answer questions. Superior did a repair for us 8 or so years ago, and we were satisfied then. We would hire them again."

A couple of people suggested Nothern Door Company. I'm very happy I took their recommendations and called Nothern Door. The tech guy, Lance, came in the next day. Very friendly. He replaced the spring and tightened up the door hinges (the door is old and is falling apart) for a reasonable price. It was done in 30 minutes. I will definitely go back to them next time I need help with my garage door."

"At 7:55am I called The Garage Door Guy. A service tech came to the house at 8:40am and bent in the lower panels so that I could at least close the door. He had garage door portfolios with him, and I was able to choose a door replacement style at that time. Due to the time of year, I was able to schedule an appointment to replace both garage doors (so that they matched) that afternoon. The technician came around lunch time and had both doors installed by late afternoon. Very efficient and very good job."
