"Everything was excellent. The team identified the hole in our pool liner. On the day of replacing the liner, identified a potentially severe issue with the structure of the pool. Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. Once the new pool arrived, they constructed the pool and constructed new outline landscaping around the pool. We are now the envy of our neighbors who have all watched and gazed in amazement at our new backyard oasis. For all of your pool needs, this is who you need to contact ASAP."

"Would only communicate via email. Never returned my calls. Scheduling was a problem. Wanted to be present for the review/quoting of the driveway as there were cracks that I thought needed filling. Tried to call after first application of sealant. The edges were not covered. The second application was better, but there are still a few spots that are thinly covered. The areas with the small cracks were coated thicker and appear okay. Sealant is supposed to last 3 years. Time will tell if the sealant holds up as well as the stuff sold at Home Depot."

"Baez Landscaping did an excellent job with spring cleanup and mulching & they created a beautiful woodland garden in our shady backyard. They are reliable, courteous, professional, work very hard in all sorts of weather. They return your calls and keep you informed; they answered our questions about the plants that were selected for the garden. We definitely recommend."

"Our driveway had several large deep cracks: at the garage apron, where it met the street, one across the middle, and many smaller crack throughout. We were given an estimate to patch (cut back the asphalt at the large cracks and patch), OR to patch and resurface the entire driveway. We opted for the patch/resurface and it looks fantastic (it’s like a brand new driveway)! We also decided (last minute) to add on the sealcoat right after the paving, which Frank was happy to do. Frank was great and on-site during all of the work. All phone calls/texts were answered immediately. The estimate was accurate. One thing to note is that the weather will dictate the scheduling (which Frank told us at the estimate). We got weeks of rain after our estimate so it took almost 2 months to get scheduled, but it was certainly worth the wait. Would recommend and hire again."

"We chose J.R. out of the 4 pavers we met. He was the most knowledgeable (professional, friendly and honest) and offered the best price for the highest quality of work. He answered all of our questions and explained everything in detail. Our very long circular driveway (154' long x 10' wide) was a mess: slopes, grooves, deep potholes and extensive multi-layered crumbling asphalt. The driveway had steep inclines on either end and dipped down toward the garage. We were concerned with water pooling and flowing into the garage. They leveled it perfectly and we've had no problems. They have top-notch equipment, extensive knowledge and integrity. J.R. and his crew showed up on time and worked diligently all day for two days. They were professional, courteous, friendly, honest and did an incredible job! Our driveway looks fantastic! Everyone is amazed at the difference. I highly recommend them.

"

Our project went extremely well.  During the estimate, Mr. Widdose sought to understand our expectations and explained everything that needed to be done (and why) so we had a full understanding of what to expect.  Mr. Widdose (Rick) had no issues with providing requested info regarding licensing and insurance.  This was very important to us as some of the contractors we contacted could not do so.  He also provided a detailed estimate; his work was true to the estimate.   They arrived to do the job when he said they would.  All old concrete was removed and replaced.  This included the front stoop, landing and sidewalk.  They also replaced our garage floor and rear patio - installing the drainage pipes underneath it.  They were very respectful of our property as well as our neighbor's.  They disposed of all removed materials and topsoiled, graded, and seeded all disturbed areas.  Rick and his crew were professional in every way - punctual and respectful. Their work ethic and skills were topnotch.  He also educated us in the proper care of the new concrete to ensure years of durability.  Although the highest bid we received, I would use them again and recommend them highly.

"Trevor came out to our house based on our neighbor's recommendation and gave us an estimate for a total redesign our our landscaping. This included excavating, removing an old cement walkway, all new plants and a paver walkway. We split the yard in two parts and he just finished part 1 (the back yard), which was top dressing & leveling, ripping out the old plants and redesigning the beds. I think they did a great job, were flexible when working around my other contractors, and fair priced. After our job was complete, Trevor came out to pick up his check and look at the work; some of the soil had settled due to a hard rain, so he had the guys come out two days later to re-soil and seed. We still have the big half of the job to do but we're pretty confident based on what we have seen so far."

"I wrote a negative review of Rightaway after having a disappointing experience involving a ~$4k mold remediation+sump pump installation job, during which the firm broke a pipe and failed to repair it properly, according to two plumbers who came out afterwards. I noticed the problem a few months later when I rechecked the crawlspace after my backup sump pump battery alarm went off following some heavy rains. We had Rightaway out again that point (Al arranged the visit of one of his colleagues while he himself was on vacation) and were told by Al that we’d get an estimate for waterproofing the area as a second job. He also denied responsibility for what we believe was a poor repair job of the pipe. After a month of texts with Al, the owner, we hadn’t received an estimate. I should note that Al was very responsive via texts during this time and gave reasons for the delay. For example, he told me over text once that he did not have the right phone number or email address for us. After being solicited by Rightaway for a review on Angies list, I posted a very negative review and Al immediately contacted me and insisted he come out and provide us with another estimate. After I asked, he also agreed to reimburse us for the repair job we’d had done on the pipe; that repair had cost ~$300.00. Al then came out to the house. He told us he’d mail us the reimbursement, send us an estimate for a new waterproofing job, and give us references of people for whom the company had honored their warranty in the past. He emailed us the estimate that day and then mailed the check the following week. However, that next week, he said he didn’t want to provide us with a reference unless he was assured that we would go with his firm for the new job, because he didn’t want to bother past clients for a reference, essentially, that wouldn’t lead to another job. Over text, he said that if I was waiting for a reference to change my review on Angie’s List, then I should go ahead and leave up my initial negative review, and that he would then post all of our text exchanges because I was not being fair and honest. At this point I called him and he explained (as I just did) why he didn’t want to provide a reference. I told him I would change my review to reflect all of our communication since early February, and that’s what I’m doing now. Al is very responsive to texts and calls, and he seems very knowledgeable about his craft and plumbing. Indeed, when he came out to our house personally, he was very convincing and I was considering re-hiring him despite the prior frustrations. I am also impressed that he cares enough about his reputation to insist upon coming to our house, offering a solution to the problem, and reimbursing us for the cost we incurred repairing that pipe. However, based on our last exchange, regarding the texts and the lack of a reference unless we went with his company, I decided against rehiring the company. I've decided I'm not hiring any future new work without a very thorough reference review. As I’ve said, the firm is very responsive in terms of communication and seems to know their business; I would just not go with them again personally based on my experience."
