"We had all our windows and doors replaced by BNT. While the PGT product is excellent, our overall experience with BNT was average at best, especially when I realized that their Angie’s List coupon was misleading. Notice the coupon states “Windows” in bold letters leading one to believe it’s a heading and not part of the coupon. The next line states “5% Off For Angie’s List Members”. Make sure you understand that the 5% off is ONLY ON WINDOWS (not doors or any other non-window product) which is usually the cheapest part of the order. When I disputed the misinterpretation with the sales guy and asked if they would change the wording to something like “5% Off Windows For Angie’s List Members” he assured me they would look into it – as of this review it hasn’t changed. Also, pay close attention to what’s written in the contract and try to detail your expectations clearly. There may be other potential (and deliberate) “misinterpretations” which could lead you to believe something else such as when payments are due. As far as their post installation service, one of the installed windows was ordered with an opening to the wrong side. I was told it had been ordered and 4-5 weeks later when they came out to fix several other installation issues, it had not been ordered at all. They then had to place a “second” order for the window and had to wait another 4-5 weeks. BTW, make sure you pay close attention during installation – the installers are sloppy and will try to perform the job as quickly as possible."

"I was originally going to replace all of the screens around the house when I made the appointment, but in the end just decided to do one window where the window screen's frame was broken. One guy replaced that. The other guy came into the house and repaired the window balance rods. He also made sure the window closed and locked properly. Polite, professional. Accepted the Angie's List coupon. Although because they had less work than originally anticipated, they did have a minimum charge. <br />"

We had a pleasant interaction from start to completion, and while we have a single window requiring post-installation tweaking, Titan is already on board with assisting. Most impressive during the installation process was the efficient, effective, and professional work provided. On that note, a significant unforeseen circumstance arose during the installation process requiring an aesthetic, brick-like application of stucco. Titan, in an effort to please us, protect our home, and complete its work reasonably promptly, provided the stucco application in a manner that matched our home, and at a third of the quoted expense from a third party. I would highly recommend the company for impact windows and am thankful that I had this work completed just in time for the approaching storm."

"Called Distinctive Touch and left message. The owner, Sherman, called right back. We scheduled and appointment for the next morning to for estimate. He showed up promptly and gave a reasonable estimate to replace glass panes in four different awning-type windows which had broken or cracked over the years. When I asked he was happy to give me an estimate for installation as well as just for the glass in case I wanted to do it myself. I thought his installation rates reasonable and just went ahead and scheduled time for him to come and install. He showed up on scheduled day right on time and went to work. I have a window which someone had once spray painted and he gave me advice on cleaning and even gave me some excellent glass cleaner to use on it! Thanks! Sherman did a great job and was very pleasant, professional and reliable. Hope I don't need to, but I will call Distinctive Touch if I need glass work done again. <br />"
