"1960's home. Original copper and cast iron pipes. Well water. There was an extreme Sulfur smell that penetrated the whole system even with single stage carbon filters and a thorough bleaching and flushing of the system. All Affordable installed all new pex supply lines throughout the home, and replaced all the old drainage lines with PVC. There was an immediate improvement in the odor. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. They took precautions due to COVID. They laid tarps down to protect all the flooring, and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I was especially impressed by Juan and Cornel. The quote and Initial scheduling went very smoothly. They were prompt, friendly and informative, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, a couple of the items I had ordered from alternative suppliers were delayed due to COVID, so they had to schedule a time to return after the remaining items were delivered. The scheduling of the follow-up appointment was a bit difficult, and is the only reason I did not give them all 5 stars. I am a DIYer, so I did not have them repair the drywall or finish the entire bath remodel, but I have attached a few pictures anyway. I am a single middle aged woman and I never felt talked down to or taken advantage of. They were wonderful, and I would highly recommend All Affordable Plumbing!"

"I thought it went well but took longer than I expected. Mechanic Leo bought the new tank and pipes in when he arrived. I believed Leo arrived around 7:30 pm. He completed the installation around 11:30.pm Leo went out to his truck, stayed outside for a long time, in fact, my son Vann went out to ask him what was taking so long. When he came back in, Leo told me there would be an extra $100.00 We explained that we had been quoted a price of $1,300.00.. so he said to call the i office and they would straighten everything out, That’s why I called the next day. Everything seemed okay. When I notice the water was much slower, I called to let J&S know. The person asked me a few questions and advised me to check the faucets. Well, that didn’t work and the water was not as hot as before the installation. I called again to explain to J & S what was happening. The person there told me that they didn’t have to come out, and I still owed them $100.. so that's why I called Angi So I decided to check all of the faucets and I realized that the water flow was not coming out properly from any of the faucets So this is what happened. I am just appalled that they haven’t come out or called as of this date. I need them to come out and check this out, something went wrong. We could do a FaceTime inspection that would show the flow of the water."

"Terrence Spranger was my plumber. His quote was fair. He was on time to the job. He replaced my hot water tank and shut off valve. He suggested placing a tray under the tank that has a drain hose just in case the new tank eventually leaks then it won’t run all over my basement. He had the model and serial numbers added to my receipt for insurance purposes. He was very personable and put the customer first. He went beyond what was expected of him to do. Thank you"

Mike from Da Vinci took care of all administrative and legal requirements. He refused to let the bureaucracy stall the project. Once permits were in hand, work commenced immediately. Da Vinci OWNS all tools and equipment required to install underground work. No delays for equipment rental! Work proceeded quickly and efficiently. "My old hot water heater died, and a friend installed a new small 40 gal tank. But I never had hot water after that. I also had a leaking lead pipe. Patrick came and had to be a sleuth to try to determine the cause of the missing hot water. The tank was too small and not functioning, but the real problem was a crossed pipe somewhere in my 1890 house. He found the pipe location in the basement and put in a shut off valve, which gave most of the house hot water. He also put in a high quality 50 gallon tank, and repaired the leaking lead main. To completely fix the hot water, it will mean opening walls, so we left a small 1/2 bath sink and attic sink to be fixed at a later time (or not....).. This was all around Easter, but he put in long days to get it all done."

"It was 10am during the week between Christmas and New Years day. My main water valve inside the house was stuck in the off position so I had no water for toilets, sinks.... Chris from the company made it out to my house in advance of the Noon appointment and worked with the village (the village has to turn on\off the water from outside to my house) to get the repair completed within 2.5 hours, which was amazing. The price charged I thought was very fair given that I needed emergency service during the holiday season when availability of service is constrained. I would definitely hire this company again and could not have been happier with my experience."

"Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. Over time with experience I have gained trust in Mattco Plumbing to get me out of big jams with the plumbing in this old building. Just recently Matt repaired the 2nd floor toilet drain line in the ceiling above my 1st floor bathroom in a very tight spot. I have had other plumbers walk away from the repair or just wanting to do the band aide repair. Matt was able to replace the entire drain line above the ceiling. I watched him do the repair. "I have a powder room that is above an unheated cellar entryway. In the winter the plumbing supply lines that run under this space would freeze. After tearing away insulation I realized these pipes were very old and also were full of various spigot valves for no apparent reason. Charlie recommended replacing them with new pipes with now valves in the cold area. He replaced them with galvanized pipes because of the higher PSI threshold. He installed independent shut off valves in my basement so I could turn these supplies off in the event of a freeze. Everything went perfectly - I use Charlie for all my plumbing needs and always will. He's a busy guy so he's not always immediately available -but I've found he's worth the wait.

"Tech performed service per protocols. He informed me that the water line to the attached humidifier was brittle and needed to be replaced. This was an expensive repair but I was offered a discount. Per their points inspection, the Tech verified that there was no gas leak from my water heater. The thermostat was not inspected since it is functioning and we are observing COVID recommendations. I was given a five-hour window for the Tech to arrive. This is the longest time frame ever. I assume that the extra COVID procedures are the reason. The Tech was professional and respectful of home COVID measures."
