"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "I live in the valley six months and East Coast 6 months. I have used Hegge three times. In 2005, Jose Santos replace 2 kitchen fluorescents with 6 recessed cans and then put in 4 additional recessed cans with its own dimmer in eating area where there had been only a fan with a bad light. In 2011, Francisco Montano put in an additional recessed can in a dimly lit closet. On 1/18/18, Francisco repaired loose wiring leading to a frequently tripping GFCI and corrected a blown circuit with a GFCI. These guys are expert, quick, neat, friendly, and prices are so reasonable for what they do. They are so neat that when they are done, you can't tell that what was new was not there before. Hegge goes out of its way to accommodate your schedule. I wish I had a Hegge for everything, not just electrical. The price quoted was just for the last service"

"While Michael the owner was responsive when it came to the actual scheduled job he sent a much junior technician whom I certainly did not expect because he did not tell me. They were supposed to contact me before he showed up but there was no advance call, luckily I was home at the time. The tech did his job and was about to just leave without showing/telling me about how it works or what he installed. I had to ask him about the installation so I can be sure I knew how the equipment operated and if there's anything I needed to know about the install. In the end my opinion is the attic fan was a waste of money and my time. We don't notice any difference in the interior temperature of our house when it's hot. When I inquired about a refund (within 30 days of the install), Michael said he would offer $89 refund for the equipment and not the install. And to think if I didn't use Angie's list, this would have cost me several more hundred dollars. An expensive lesson learned!
