"Super happy with LA Reglazing! They reglazed our old bathtub and made it look brand new. The job was done quickly, and the quality is top-notch — no weird smells or streaks, just a super clean, glossy finish. Customer service was also great they explained the process, gave a fair quote, and were on time. Definitely exceeded expectations."

"The project manager, Tom Cohen, was so helpful from our first meeting. He was knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences so I could make the best choice for the money I had to spend. The windows were replaced and I'm happy with my beautiful new sliding door. The work was done quickly and my home was left in great condition. I had no clean up to do after the workers finished. Tom helped me process all the paperwork and arranged for financing , also very helpful. I would use this company again and I would ask to work with Tom Cohen. I trust him to help with future projects."

"It went great, extremely happy with the finished product. The technician that sprayed our tub surround showed up on time and was very knowledgable and friendly. Prices very reasonable, and scheduling was easy. As an apartment manager I would definitely recommend G&G Refinishing!! Can't wait to use them again for our next job!!"

"Great work, at some point we had 10 or more workers inside and outside the house, at some point we flew to Switzerland so we weren't there for 2 weeks, basically this was a full remodel, the wooden floors, we did the whole house, a new kitchen, new livingroom, all the windows, tank-less water heater, outlets for our European (Miele) washer/drier, a vent for our kitchen for also a Miele vent, new copper plumbing, new bathrooms, showers etc etc.  This house went from being a dilapidated old house to a like new place.
MS also put in 2 new A/C's, one for upstairs, one for downstairs, a humidifier in the A/C, helped us fumigate the house for MUCH cheaper ($1000 vs $3000 or more we were offered) so a tent went over the house for the whole weekend; just the bathroom alone, would have cost us close to $40K somewhere else, they did for $5000 as part of the whole thing.
Run, don't walk to the phone to call them (not so applicable these days with cell phones though...   )"

"

7/13/15:  I have worked out an arrangement with the company and at this point harbor no ill will towards them.

While we had multiple issues with ESI (not showing when scheduled, workers drinking alcohol on the job, substandard work which had to be redone), when the remodel was completed we thought we had a pretty nice looking kitchen.  Then, as months passed, we started noticing a lot of grease spots accumulating on the cabinet above the microwave.  When we hired another contractor for a bathroom remodel, we asked him to take a look at this cabinet issue.  He found that the ventilation kit had not been attached to the microwave nor to the air ducting of the house so the grease had no where to go.  Additionally, our contractor found the following issues from the ESI remodel:

*romax sticking out of the wall going directly into the bottom of a cabinet into a non-gain box

*electrical socket behind dishwasher was non GFI protected and had no cover plate so exposed to water

*4 GFI's, way to many for our kitchen area, were tied into one line.

Bottom line:  our contractor said the work had created a major safety issue which could result in a fire or electrocution.

"I first used Build A Dream to replace a few windows in my mother’s house. I was impressed by their integrity, honesty and especially their finished work. I was so pleased with the finished work and the way that they worked that I invited them to my house to consider remodeling 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Sean & Matt have been especially easy to work with, great communicators, innovative design engineers and just plain great people. I highly recommend this company (especially Sean & Mat"

"I gave them a 4 because I thought the price was high at just less than $500 to replace the sliding rollers and nothing else. The doors work great now. Our neighbor referred them and he had already had 3 different quotes for his doors and this company was the lowest. The neighbor had replaced the glass on his doors so we could not compare apples to apples. I would think $120 a door would be suffice since all sliding doors have basically the same technologly. But who am I to know. You asked me for my rating and here it is. Everything else was great. Thanks again, Steve"

"My old bathroom was in desperate need of new stuff. The old tub was a sheer mess and dangerous, we don't use it, might as well get rid of it and make room. The freestanding with a jets. Just like the model houses in HGTV!! The guys gave a full makeover to my bathroom ! New shower, matching hardware, an eclectic overall look ."

"My sister and I needed to replace our tub shower with a walk in shower for our mom and this company did a great job. They came out and helped us we decided to go with the acrylic with a curtain rod so it was easier for mom. The crews cleaned up and it only took two days. Definitely recommend this company"

FAQs for bathtub liner or shower surround installation and replacement projects in Desert Hot Springs, CA

A bathtub liner is a custom, one-piece shell that slips over your existing tub to hide cracks, stains, and chips. Most are molded from tough acrylic or PVC and can include a matching wall surround for a complete facelift. When a pro bonds the liner in place, you get a watertight seal, a fresh look, and an added layer of safety—all without tearing out the old tub.

After a tech measures your tub and orders a made-to-fit shell, installation takes a day. The installer cleans the surface, applies industrial-grade adhesive, and positions the liner in place. They trim the edges, tighten the drain, and run a smooth bead of silicone caulk to lock out moisture. A quick plumbing check wraps things up, leaving you with a ready-to-use tub by the next morning.

You can pick preset sizes or order a liner molded to your tub’s exact shape, then choose from dozens of colors, patterns, and finishes to match—or refresh—your bathroom. A pro trims and fits the shell on-site, so every contour lines up and accessories like grab bars or shelving land exactly where you want them.

If the liner’s material accepts a fresh coating, a professional can sand it, apply epoxy, and restore the shine in six hours for $480. Swapping in a brand-new liner runs $800 to $1,000 and takes a day or less. Refinishing is the wallet-friendly route when the shell is structurally sound, but it won’t last as long as starting over with new acrylic.

Most liners last three to five years. High-quality acrylic, a snug professional fit, and routine cleaning help you reach the upper end of that range. If moisture seeps behind the shell, mold and odors can shorten its life, so keep an eye out for loose caulk or soft spots and call a professional if you spot trouble early.
