"John & his brother Paul were great communicators. They came when they said they would. They were professional in all aspects of their work. We are very pleased with the install and with our minisplit system. I highly recommend Alpina Mechanical!"

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

My mother has a new air conditioning unit (similar to heat pump) that was installed by another company. Outside temperature yesterday was 96 degrees and the unit stopped working yesterday around noon. By the evening time, the house was 86 degrees which is dangerous for her as she is in her late 80's and homebound. I called the company who installed the unit and was told that it would be 3 weeks before they could come out even though the unit is still under their warranty. (Oddly enough that company also has "A" rating through Angie's List but I'm puzzled how that's possible.) The service coordinator was terse and said they only did "first come, first serve" which I understand when dealing with most of us. However there are times when priorities are needed.

I found Aire Serv on Angie's List. From the beginning of the call the experience was positive and very helpful. She acknowledged that home bound and elderly people needed to have a quicker response. She agreed to try to get someone out the next day and would try to get someone there today so would call me with more information ASAP. Meanwhile my husband attempted to problem solve the issue and fortunately managed to fix it. That is the only reason that Aire Serv did not do work for us. I will absolutely use Aire Serv the next time we need anything and highly recommen

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Steve is polite, professional, and honest. I explained what my overall end-state for upgrading my entire heating and cooling system in my 130 year old house, and he delivered. Not only was he THOUSANDS of dollars lower than the next estimate, he made sure the demo of the old system and install of the new, energy efficient system was done timely and appropriately. My old, beautiful house now has central heat and A/C."

"Clearwater heating and air did a great job installing a mini split with two indoor air handlers in our church! They work great and have been an incredible help with both cooking in the summer and keeping it warm in the winter. The staff did a professional job with the installation and we are very happy with it!"

"Product was what we needed. No pressure to buy. Come to the home, makes recomendations, and you have 3 days to turn down, if you rethink your acceptance. We even had a sale paper get us about $750 off after we accepted the terms and Sears honored this. Great way to save more. The Craftsmen did a very good job. The system was removed and new one installed in 5 hours. That was furnace and heat pump. Crew size was about 3-1/2. Very Pleased. Wife is real happy."
