This company denied the responsibility but later reimbursed me for the first leak repair after employee acknowledging doing partial work. This project aims to address and fix the extensive leaks. Must be completely replaced, cause of leaks appears to be from over heating of the copper as locations are at ALL connections and bends in the pipe, too much to patch. "UPDATE 4/25/2023 4 yrs after installation of a system that Bell Brothers designed and installed, my energy bills are higher than they were with the 20 yr old system it replaced. We have fewer people in the home, and it is supposed to be a high efficiency system. After numerous complaints, inspections, and supposed repairs to solve the problem, Bell Brothers told me that I need to turn off my high-tech, automatic thermostats and operate them manually as needed. Oh, and NEVER turn on more than 2 of my 3 zones at any one time. So much for the NO SURPRISE GUYS. UPDATE 3/18/23 AFTER CONTACT WITH BELL BROS We have been contacted by Bell Bros since this review with an offer to replace the plenum and reprogram the zone board. We requested a written explanation of those repairs, and how they would solve the problem. We have not received that information. UPDATE 9/19/22 - AFTER TRUE-UP My energy usage (and annual bill) is higher after replacing a 20+ year-old system with one that is supposed to be more efficient. That makes no sense. We have fewer people in the house, and have had more than our share of power outages and flex alerts. This is definitely a very expensive purchase that we thoroughly regret. UPDATE 9/8/21 - AFTER 3 DAYS OF HEAT WAVE We typically open doors and windows or run the whole house fan to take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures. Since the insulation was upgraded, the temperature inside the house seems to be holding between 10-15 degrees cooler than outside. At this point, we are comfortable and looking forward to see if our heating/cooling bills are lower at true-up. UPDATE TO ADD ACTIONS TAKEN BY BELL BROS SINCE MY REVIEW Approximately 1 week after this review was posted, I received a message from Bell Bros Sales Manager wanting to discuss my insulation options. When I returned his call and gave him the details of my experience with his company, he apologized and offered to insulate my home at no cost. Needless to say, that was a more than fair offer and I accepted. In spite of some unprofessional communication issues, the work was performed yesterday and we are waiting to see whether it makes a difference in our comfort and/or our hvac bills. I am raising the rating to 2 stars now, and will be updating the rating further if we see some positive changes in how our system works. ORIGINAL REVIEW Installed complete HVAC system to replace 20 year old system in 4000 sq ft house. Represented that new system would operate more efficiently and should decrease my heating/cooling costs significantly. Prior to installation, they inspected my entire system, including insulation and ductwork and made recommendations for the best system for my needs. I asked about insulation at the time of the install and was told it didn't need to be installed. Two years later, my bills are HIGHER, and now they tell me I only have 6" of insulation when I should have 16". Temperatures in my house are consistently higher than the selected temperature. I have one room which takes more than an hour before the air begins to blow. They tell me it is because this room is so far from the unit. They are the ones who decided where to place the unit. Very unhappy with the difference between what they told me I needed, and what I actually got. Services: Install thermostat, A/C system maintenance, Heating system installation, HVAC duct & vent installation, HVAC system maintenance"

The work they did was very professional and they knew exactly what they were doing. Joel and Brian worked so hard and were always here everyday when they told us they would be. "We hired Ecology Air Innovations to move our AC unit from the back of our house to our side yard. It ended up costing $7000, took approximately a month to get done after contacting them, and we have had to have the unit serviced less than a year later. You can get the same work done for a lot less and not have to suffer their inflated prices and unprofessionalism. I reached out to get an itemized invoice for my records since ours only had a total price without a cost breakdown. Mark sent it with snarky notes, attacks on my intelligence, and name calling embedded in the invoice that I need to use in the records for my home run business. The invoice states: "Included in Above estimate!! for idiots who can't read." "We obviously didn't use the one you ran for your pool equipment." "The listed below is the itemized cost for whatever "project manager" is to ignorant to recognize from the previous invoice." He also appears to have been confused or just made up cost amounts up because the first itemized invoice sent to me had our electrical work at less than half of the actual cost which I corrected him on in text and then was sent an updated copy with the correct price."
