Normally, my husband likes to complete our home repair projects himself, but he had never installed crown molding before. We did some research and found Ace Handyman Services South Pittsburgh, and we're so happy we did! Rich was our handyman, he arrived on time and did a beautiful job installing the crown molding! We have cathedral ceilings in our bedroom, which made this a more difficult task. Rich was very knowledgeable on how to tackle this project, and it turned out even better than we were expecting! The job involved removing an old split-rail fence (12 posts), carting away the debris, and then replacing it with a fence of 8 posts. The work is excellent, and the workers very courteous. "During a day when everyone in Pittsburgh was having a leak, they were the only ones to call me back. They came that afternoon to stop the leak and rip out the small area of dry wall. They replaced the part of the roof that needed to be fixed within a week and also repaired the affected area inside the house within a week. I had to call them a few times to remind them to come back to finish the work, but the owner was very sick, so he had a good reason. The job was reasonably priced and they did an A+ job. "Painter showed up on time a did a great job. There was a worry at first when he was not sure he could do the repairs to the walls -not enough joint compound he said. But he had just enough to get the job done and the walls look great. Maybe in the future have extra joint compound on hand. The price was a special promotion"

"This the second time I've worked with Jason, He replaced windows on the second floor and installed sofia and fascia on  front and back porch back in 2012. Did a great job and cost me only 10K. So I used him again on a bigger project, new kitchen and downstairs bathroom as well as replace the ceiling in the living room. I did the demo on kitchen and bathroom myself to save some bucks, but he came in laid everything out and how long the project would take. He started on time and as we moved through the construction, I made several changes which he accommodated without issue and gave me a clear price adjustment on the additional services. He brought everything up to code in both bath and kitchen and his plumber and electrician were there on time to keep project on schedule. Start to finish was 4-5 weeks. This was my daughter's house and I plan to use him for my kitchen remodel next year.
Price was great and affordable (22K) and his crew were all great guys.
If your getting quotes, get one from this guy, by far cheaper than most contractors.

"The exterior trim around my deck door was rotting and falling off. He did an absolute wonderful job showing me what the issues were underneath the trim, telling me options, even consulted a builder friend of his to confirm the best possible solution. The final result was spectacular and you can tell the care and pride he takes in his work. He was transparent with pricing and what he was going to do, and he asked me several times my opinion about the the work to be done and the appearance. He also arrived when he said he would and completed the work carefully but efficiently . He will be my go to person from now on if we need any handyman services in our home. I can't say enough about how pleased we are. He's also a very nice and personable individual."
