"Calling Karoly Windows & Doors, I kept regular communication with Danalyn and Cindy. Talking with them was not only necessary, but pleasant. They were always helpful and timely in addressing any question or concerns that I might have had. Karoly came out to the property which consisted of a front house and a separate mother-in-law apartment for a free estimate of PGT windows and front door replacement. He took measurements throughout the property, then tested the buildings for lead-based paint. A few days later he emailed me an estimate and a timeline of the project; I agreed with his proposal. The proposal stated it would take X amount of time for the windows to be fabricated from the manufacturer. The time came for the window to arrive but were not available yet. Karoly offered an explanation that the manufacturer was deluged with big client orders and that they were behind schedule. He suggested that we should wait another week and if the windows were still not available he would get me window from another manufacturer - Simonton for the same quoted price - I quickly agreed to that! I ended up getting the Simonton windows. His crew came out and with no nonsense work ethic installed my windows (including picture window) and door. They cleaned up after themselves and I am very happy about the entire process."

"Going with Advanced Hurricane Protection was the BEST decision! First, they came up with a design and plan that addressed 2 difficulties: the fit of a door that was not standard size and avoiding the replacement unique oversized large window. Their pricing, even with some special adjustments of the non standard door, was competitive. They did their work in 2 stages- shutters first and then the windows and doors separated by the Holidays. The men who did the shutters arrived on time and worked exclusively outside of the house. They solicited my preferences when it was appropriate - especially re the placement of the bottom tracks for the patio shutter enclosure. They even gave consideration to the placement re my dogs and their access to the doggie door! They protected all of my patio furniture and cleaned up when they were done. I was very impressed with them. Oh- and they wore masks because of covid when near me. They showed me how to work the shutters and locks and gave me maintenance tips. Overall a really nice job. The team that worked on my windows arrived on time and were tidy when working and considerate in my home to wear masks. They draped my furnishings to minimize the dust and vacuumed when complete. They worked one room, of my preference, at a time to minimize the disturbance within my home. They were a happy team as I could hear them talking with each other nicely and sometimes laughing with each other. They did a great job and made it all look so great! The windows and doors are quiet and good looking and feel heavy yet they glide in their tracks. Really nice! One handle didnt function as well as they thought it should and they brought it to my attention and said they would have it addressed.. and sure enough in no time, the Shwinco Representative arrived to resolve it fully. The team had the papers for the permits and inspections ready for me when I prepared to settle the bill. I am so impressed with the windows and very very impressed with their installation. I will highly recommend AHP and Shwinco to my neighbors and friends."

"Avi and George were amazing!!!! From communicating to measurements to installation these guys are THE BEST!!!!! I honestly wish they also did other construction work because of their work ethics. Initially I wanted a retractable screen for a carport enclosure they did for me. So that’s what I got. After a few days we noticed that the sides would come out of the tract. Avi had told me this may happen but we decided to try it. We called him and he came back out took it down got creative and developed a better retractable screen that went side to side. Excellent!!!! They were very accommodating with installation as I was living up North and had to schedule a trip to my home in Boynton Beach to get this completed. They installation team was awesome. "Spoke to Oscar several times regarding the work to be done on the home and he visited the home as well. He wrote up a proposal, we signed the proposal which stated 2 specific posts and 2 specific railings were to be replaced. Workers showed up promptly on Saturday May 31st and my husband was there to meet the men performing the work, Oscar did not show up on site. My husband noticed that a railing was removed, but it wasn't the railing that  we had wanted removed, so we called Oscar  promptly to let him know the workers were removing the wrong railing and he immediately got defensive stating that we (my husband and I) had signed a proposal and that he doesn't do work for free, etc. After hashing out the details over the phone, my husband offered to pay for half half of the labor, which we should not have been responsible to pay for any of it as it was a mistake on their part. of the labor and buy the materials since they were already int he middle of the job. The level of unprofessionalism that was displayed by this company Owner was not something we have ever dealt with before and we could not believe that he was blaming us for his lack or attention to detail during the preparation in the proposal. As a company owner he should have taken pictures of the area to be worked on and/or submitted drawings for us to sign off on so that there could be no mistake in what pieces of wood were to be replaced. When we spoke to him over the phone and he went to the home to review the areas, we assumed all parties were on the same page in terms of which pieces were to be replaced. <br />"
