"A few weeks ago our gas hot water heater died. We had never used Valdel Plumbing before but were extremely impressed with the entire experience. We found them on Angie's list as being highly rated and there's a reason for it. We called them at 7:30 in the morning and by 11:30 AM had hot water and that's not exaggerating! Their specialist, Steve Ault was awesome and very knowledgeable. He quickly got to work dismantling the old unit. He even had a new heater and all the parts on his truck so there wasn't even a delay in waiting for parts or a new heater to be delivered. He also installed a drip pan, a pressure regulator and re-routed some of the exhaust piping for better venting. The price they charged seemed to be in line with the work performed. "The company replied quickly and gave an estimate as requested. We were quoted for 2 new shut offs and 3-5 replacement shut offs. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. Sharkbite valves were installed. If I knew they were going to be used, I would have done the work myself. The plumber was proficient with the Sharkbites, I just expected that a pro plumbing company would solder. When the plumber left, there were no leaks, and I didn?t feel like making an issue of the other 2 valves which I wanted installed."
