"Steve and his crew were excellent. They tried to be out the same day I called (Thursday), but a previous job went longer than expected, so they agreed to come out on Friday afternoon at 5:30 pm. They showed up right on time, removed the old water heater and promptly installed the new one. I actually had to leave town on Thursday, but my roommate was there to let them in Friday; Steve called me periodically with updates and kept me informed every step of the way. We called DiBiase in the morning and a technician was at our house in the afternoon exactly on time. The technician (Chris) was extremely professional, very thorough in explaining why things weren't working and provided us a few options. We chose to repair the unit as opposed to replace it. Chris ordered the parts and was back on site as soon as the parts arrived. The price charged was exactly what was quoted, the service was completed promptly, system tested, Chris explained everything he did and the unit is working perfectly! I highly recommend this company, we have since signed a service agreement with them that includes 2 a year tune-ups for both or our systems. "Crew members Trong Chau, Tan Pham did an excellent job for the installation - prompt, professional, and thorough. Staff Dante Zappala professionally measured and sized the system. Unique Indoor Comfort staff were very slow in providing warranty papers for the extended warranty of the Rheem Water Heater - it took a month to get the proper sticker to validate the warranty - and made it seem like a problem. We hope that they respect the warranties for the A/C and Furnace through Carrier."

However based on various options quoted and online prices for the same heater model, it seems that the premium for same-day service and 6 yr warranty on the labor and miscellaneous parts was over $500! If I were to do it over again, I think I could have survived a week without hot water and would have ordered my own heater. As it was, the labor (and overhead?) would calculate out to ca. $300/hr."
