The roof decking was in poor shape, so the purlins had to be nailed directly to the roof rafters. Andy used 5" nails that had to be hammered by hand (no air nailers). I'm not sure how many contractors would have gone to this effort. The crew took extra care to locate the rafters and make sure the purlins were securely nailed to the rafters. The installation of the metal and roof valleys was very nicely done ... looks great. I'm super satisfied. Great contractor. If you have the opportunity to have this contractor do your work ... take it."
