"AJ and his team were great. Prompt, responsive, and highly professional. The job including demo of existing structures in a semi-finished basement, installation of French drain and sump pump, and cleaning and painting of walls. They completed the job on time; AJ was responsive to a minor issue the cropped up as a result of the demo; and they left our basement very clean. They went above and beyond. We have had multiple heavy rains since the work was done, and our basement has remained dry. No issues at all. We could not be more pleased with the result."

"The team arrived on time to do extensive work on my basement floor and walls and outside underground drainage issues. They worked tirelessly all day to remove old concrete, lay a new pipe system, pour new concrete, install sump pump, and seals. They prepped the walls and sealed and painted with Loxon paint. Radon seals were included in the redone areas. The outside work included installation of a new underground drainage pipe with pop up exit drain. A rubber membrane was installed behind the house siding. We?ve had several days of heavy rain since the waterproofing work was completed and the basement floor and walls have remained dry. We recommend Basement Gurus to other homeowners experiencing waterproofing problems for dependable and satisfying solutions."

"In my 42 year-old home with a poured concrete foundation I noticed some dampness following a major rainstorm that seems to go away until the next rainstorm, when a larger wet spot appeared. I regraded the ground outside to see if that alleviated the problem, which it did not. We had a particular wet month and black mold and a five foot wet spot appeared along an interior wall. I contacted Ryan at Basement Medics and he dug down and located several cracks along a poured joint. Re also removed sheet rock inside and revealed a six foot long crack. He placed a barrier outside and used a graphite mesh and resin patch inside to seal the crack. After curing, he replaced the sheet-rock, taped and sanded for painting. Finally, in his clean-up he treated the trained carpet with a chemical that completely eliminated the trace of damage. Good as new. All along he kept me informed and followed up on his work. It has been four wet months but zero leaking."

"We have a 150-old house with a small, unfinished, and very damp basement (but no standing water). In the summer the humidity was continuously over 70%. We bought the largest dehumidifier you can get at a home improvement center, which was unable to get the humidity below 60%. We just wanted to be able to store things there without having them ruined. We had three contractors look at it and make recommendations. The first proposed an elaborate and very expensive foam insulation approach (though he described it as "relatively cheap"). To boot, a number of his reviewers described results that were not as promised and complained that getting follow-up service was difficult to impossible. The second had a one-size-fits-all approach whereby he digs a trench and installs drainage pipes all around the perimeter. This would not only have been unnecessary, but almost certainly would not have solved our problem, which was extremely moist air. The third was Once-and-Done Waterproofing, and the owner, Jeff Johnson, proposed to install a powerful commercial-grade dehumidifier, for what seemed like a very reasonable price. We went with him. The results have been fantastic! This unit easily keeps the humidity in the mid-30% range and completely solved our problem. Jeff is a no-nonsense, straight shooter who does exactly what he promises, when he promises it. His office manager Shawn was great at communication and scheduling. Jeff gives you his personal mobile phone number and he actually answers it! We could not be happier with the results!"

"They came out & explained how they were going to resolve the drainage issue from our basement & lawn. We were surprised at the depth of work they had done to ensure that this issue was resolved for the new owners. They did as they said they would do per the estimate. These guys worked so hard & got rained on a good bit of the day, yet that didn't stop them from completing the job. They went above & beyond. It has been over a month now & we are very pleased to see no drainage issues. Thanks Waterproofing One for coming to our rescue! Dave & Lisa"

"We interviewed several waterproofing companies for installing a French Drain. We are in NE Philly where the water table is so bad. We get water in our basement with nearly every major rainstorm. After 2 storms dumped 7" in 3 hours and another that dumped 4" 2 days later, we'd had enough after 13 years. Ryan came out and did an inspection and showed us what our basement needed and what Dry Tech's installation would do. He answered a lot of questions and did great follow up with us, without being pushy on hiring his company. After meeting with other contractors, we gave them the job. The workers were thorough, courteous and professional. They took all the steps needed to cover and protect our things that were in the basement and cleaned up everything afterwards. The job took 2 days. While I can't YET state how great the drain works, I'm actually looking forward to the next big rainstorm"

"On the price, I don't, but it was also reasonable. They had also installed a water heater like a year before, reasonable. For sure they're a good service provider, any issues I have with the HVAC or my water system, I'll go to them. They clean up behind themselves; I don't have to do much."
