"The front sidewalk that G&B Construction replaced for us is absolutely amazing and has held up well in both the hot and cold weather! George and his crew were very skillful at creating a slight curve in the sidewalk (before the turn was at a 90 degree angle) and a flare at the driveway that really makes the front sidewalk look so much more inviting and welcoming. They also banked the sidewalk for better drainage and raised it up so that there was a much smaller step up onto the front porch. The crew that came out to the house was very nice and professional! They worked really hard to keep the driveway clean while bringing loads of wet concrete to the sidewalk location. Rachel, the office manager, was also really helpful in getting this project organized. I am very happy that we hired G&B Construction and have shared our experience with our neighbors. If I need any more concrete work done, I will definitely call them again!"

"In order to get to the problem of water leaking into the basement the front porch/step had to be taken out. Then they had to dig down to the house foundation. Upon doing this it was discovered no footing was present. The wood was rotten, The work that Down Under did was by far the best work I ever seen. I had one neighbor come by to look at the work as it was being done and she said it was a great job. Max and the crew did what I considered to be above and beyond to make sure the water will not enter into the basement and also how the porch/step was firmly secure. They took care to make sure the grass area and all the debris was clean up this was also outstanding. The owner of the company, Walt gave me a very detailed description of the work that needed to be done. This was given to me one year ago but I wasn't ready until this year to have work done. I am so happy I found Walt's company. I hope the other person who didn't use Down under will read this review and make every effort to contact Walt. I also liked how if I had questions or wanted something explained it was always answered in a way you knew they knew what they were doing. The work took eight days to complete but that is because of the problems that were not seen until the porch was taken out. Each day Max would explain what had been done and what they would do the next day. They arrived each day on time and if they were going to be late I was informed. Also the basement wall was sealed in a way no water will come through. Thank you Walt, Max and the crew for a job well done!!!!"

"Gil was a very laid back and a  non hard sell type of guy when we met in June. I got 3 quotes and jmj was right in the middle but offered the mulch service where the other two did not. So I got the most bang for my buck. To put it simply... he arrived at 10 am this morning. His crew showed up at 11 am. They did the entire project in 6 hours.... That includes clean up. I could not ask for a better group of guys and a great company to work with. The patio is awesome, high quality and really adds some appeal to my backyard. I would highly recommend JMJ for any future hardscaping needs. <br />"

"The man who came out was very good. The side walk was fine. I have seen his work throughout the city because he stamps his logo in the sidewalk. I knew that he does pretty good work because it seems to be everywhere. He made the appointment and came on time. He did what he was supposed to do and hauled all the junk away. So, it was pretty painless."

"They should just give me a better price. They were slightly messy. They trimmed all the grass in my front yard because they wanted to put the stand. There was concrete on my driveway and it was not a clean job. The job that they did was a difficult job to keep it clean as well. I understand that. It took them a little time to get it done. They were supposed to put in an air system to kill some things and they had tore-scrub some joists."

"Mr. Meraz came and looked at our job, provided an estimate, and scheduled us in quickly. As the job went along, we decided to add some additional work to the original patio replacement. We added a walkway and retaining wall and received an updated reasonable additional estimate that did not change when the work was completed. Mr. Meraz helped us problem solve and suggested ideas , such as a small French drain system which he placed, to redirect rainwater, so it wouldn't pond on the walkway as it had done before.. The entire crew worked well together, and cleaned up the site each day. Marco always let us know what step was next and when they would be arriving each day. He was onsite with his crew and always let us know if he had to run out for supplies or other reasons. We recommend Marco Meraz & More. Good work. Good communication. Invested in doing the job right and what we wanted. We are very happy with our new patio area."
