"We first hired the Davenports to rebuild a utility room which housed a water heater and well tank that was in need of reconstruction due to prolonged water damage. Bruce was very responsive and came to estimate the job the next day. His price was fair and we hired them to build the utility room and a new deck. These guys did awesome work! The deck is really well built, very sturdy and a very high level of craftsmanship. Bruce matched our roofline with the utility room rebuild and had better ideas than me with how to design it, great job! After seeing their quality of work we hired them to build an addition onto our cabin, we had been looking for someone in the area for over a year. Bruce and his sons came in on budget and on time! The new addition is excellent, we added a master bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower, laundry closet and walk in closet. The overall design and execution is extremely high quality and Bruce, Matt, and Houston were very professional about everything. We live in Fl and received pictures via text messages each day showing progress on the job. We just came home from spending a week in our new room addition and could not be more pleased. "Mr. Lance Smith, owner of Affordable Contracting did an excellent renovation on my entire kitchen.  The work was done on time and the most impressive part was that Mr. Smith sat down on the first appointment and sketched out what I wanted and then with his ideas of how we could keep on budget by recycling the cabinets that were being removed and incorporate into the overall new design was just so considerate and the carpenter , and other workers  performance  just more than I imagined.  Every time I met with Mr. Smith, he was on time and never rushed through any concern that I had.  If I was near running over budget, he would consult with me and offer alternatives.  The project was a pleasant experience overall and my kitchen exceeded my expectations.  Above all - I just called this company from an add in the Douglasville magazine - no references or anything.  That was a huge chance to take, but when I meet Mr. Smith and after our first meeting I trusted him and at the end of my renovation I can truly say that he runs an honest business and will bend over backwards to make certain you are pleased with his  company's work.  He has an excellent business and I am so happy that I found him.  He kept to the budget and I was fortunate to have given his company a try.  His standards and honesty are almost unheard of these days.  My kitchen is a dream and I've not had him to return to redo or fix anything.  Everything was done right the first time.  "

"It didn't go because I was unsure about timing and our plans. Since our plans are so unsettled at this time, I couldn't make definite plans about anything. It seems like our plans and needs change daily. We are talking about a third person moving in with us, he has pets, we are looking at moving to another home in the area, or out of the area, a town away from here or just staying put.
