Five years since, I could not be happier. They gave the option of spray foam insulation around the window casings to help with drafts from original construction. What a difference. Not at all pushy and not the cheapest but boy was it worth it."

"Hodges Windows & Doors is the place to go for windows and doors. Our home was built in 1955 and in need of replacement windows and doors. "Needed to replace two windows in my bedroom and be compliant with my HOA , Todd Stevens came to my home, this guy is extremely knowledgeable regarding any and all aspects of window replacement. This guy couldn't have been more helpful, truly if more contractors acted like him the industry wouldn't need a website like this to make them honest! "Hiring Performance Home Improvement has been an absolute dream experience and I am SO glad that I ended up using them. Though they were not my 1st choice, they were certainly the best and SO wish I had started with them! Let me explain… I have two homes that needed roofs, gutters and other items replaced/fixed after a recent hail storm. I figured it would be easy to get a contractor to work with me but to my surprise, it was not. I spent weeks dealing with contractors only to end up having to start all over each time. I could go into the frustrating details but to summarize, one took weeks to get back to me with messed up proposals, one never got back to me with a proposal, and one I had received a proposal from and agreed to use, never responded to my emails/calls to do the work! And ALL of them asked for the insurance claims to be able to quote me a price. Seriously? Not having luck with other means, I decided to give Angies List a go. I made a short list of 3 local contractors and Performance Home Improvement was the 1st I called. The owner Ed Brown showed up when scheduled, took his time going over the two houses in detail, explained my options, and sat down with me then and there to draw up a proposal. Because of my prior experience, I had concerns trusting but decided to sign and use them. I cannot emphasize enough how glad I am that I did! Work was done when scheduled, completed on time, and done with care and quality results. He was quick to respond to questions, always communicating what was happening when, and then confirming what was supposed to happen did. I was amazed at how fast the roofing crew worked! So many houses around me took days and these were each done well within a day. Ed personally handles the gutter / downspout work and when I asked why, he told me crews are paid by the foot and tend to rush the jobs which do not reflect the quality he demands. Though I was already feeling good about my decision, that sealed it for me. =) I hope I never need roof replacement again but should I, Performance Home Improvement will be my contractor without hesitation!"

"The first thing that I would say is that if you live in a house from the 80s (or earlier) with the original windows, then replacing your windows will totally change your quality of life. It won't be cheap, but it will be worth it. We have one small bedroom setup as a nursery for our unborn baby and it has two double-hung windows: one facing East, and one facing South. Before getting the windows replaced, where I always had the blinds pulled down and a curtain covering the window, I could practically guarantee that I would be sweating after being in that room for more than two minutes; now it is one of the most comfortable rooms in the house and I have not even put the blinds or curtains back up. From start to finish, the process was quick and easy. I would say painless, but replacing 24 windows is not an inexpensive endeavor. Still, they made it as painless as replacing 24 windows could be. The whole process began with an in-person, social distanced, estimate of what it would cost with no pressure placed onto us to "sign now" as many places like to do. Once we signed up, they sent out someone to do more exact measurements for the full order and two weeks later we had all 24 windows installed. The majority of the wait was awaiting the factory to produce our windows (US made). Jordan pushed the lowest cost window onto us and he even noted that that's what he used on his home. I have had the windows installed for about two weeks now and everything about my house is better. I have less light pollution while still having more windows open without blinds, and the temperature in my house is predictable throughout the day. This will absolutely lower my energy costs (granted, it will take many years to recoup the cost of so many windows), but it was worth the money even if there was no financial incentive. Their staff have been efficient, friendly, and high quality throughout the process. I attached a picture showing the new window beside by old windows. My windows were dirty from the exterior because I had no way of opening them to clean them. Now I do. It is life changing in so many ways."
