"They got done quickly and cleaned up after the work was completed. When the old siding was removed from the house, we found that there was very little insulation. The crew stopped the installation and helped install some additional insulation before installing the new siding. The crew was friendly and professional. The siding is beautiful and durable."

"I wanted to receive quotes for a siding project from several companies and debella debt out Blake & Brady for the initial quote. They were very friendly and professional and unlike other companies respected the fact I wanted to do this in February. They were very supportive and didn't try to pressure a same day sale. The actually spent over 5 hours at my home going over all the details and answering my questions. The found the right serv6fir me within my budget so I signed up now for them to start in February. They are one of only 2 actual certified james hardie color plus installers in idaho in I feel confident they will do a fantastic job."

"This company deserves its name, "Awesome." I can't say enough good things about this company. Ben and Peter arrived on time and pulled out the dishwasher, hoping they could access the sheet-metal cover without having to pull out the base cabinet. The cover, however, was still partially concealed by the base cabinet but they were able to pull that out without damaging the cabinet or the counter top. So not only did they create access to the vent but they went ahead and reconnected the vent so that I could continue getting heat (1/3) into the kitchen but now get (2/3's) in the second-story bedroom above. They are problem-solvers, first rate!

In addition, they recaulked around the countertop and cleaned up well when they were through. Very professional.

"

"We found a speck home being built by Baker Builders. We went under contract just in time to pick out all of the finishes. We worked primarily with Travis, who was great to work with. He communicated well on any changes, delays, or issues. At the time we were building there were several supply chain issues, so we had to make some changes along the way. Travis always provided an alternative or solution anytime we needed to make a change. The house turned out beautiful! We are very happy with our custom home."

"We were having some settling issues and though we might need some helical piers so we called Brady out to take a look. He checked out our crawlspace and foundation and looked at some minor cracks. After his inspection, he told us that the settling was very minor and and jokingly said he could sell us some piers, but recommended we try to get some drainage issues taken care of and unless the minor crack in the wall ( which I had patched) doesn't come back we should not worry about it. That is the kind of honesty and integrity that convinced me that if I ever needed foundation work I would call him. I am an avid supporter of people who treat me right and that is why I wanted to take time to write this review."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Dumont, CO

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
