"The official reasons that my family sought a complete driveway replacement were 1) the slope of the apron caused damage to cars if drivers did not enter/exit very slowly and/or at an angle, 2) the damage from tree roots and age caused massive overall cracking over the entire length of the driveway, and 3) in one such damaged area, the concrete tilted toward the northwest foundation of the house and water would pond there during any level of rain - or use of the sprinkler.
