He showed me where deterioration was taking place on some of the parts inside the tank would mean problems down the road. The toilet is over 15 years old. "The water heaters are located in an upstairs attic.  There is a very long stairway to the upstairs and the attics.  We live in a nice house and I was worried that that rusty water, or dirty boot prints, or insulation would mess up the fine rugs.  I also worried about scratches to the newly refinished hardwood floors.  No problem!  The two plumbers were neat, thorough, organized, and clean.  They wore booties over their shoes and took them off and put them back on every time they had to leave the house to get to to the truck.  They wrapped the water heaters in canvas tarps and made sure not one drop got on the rugs or the floors.  Their work was immaculate.  The installation was neatly done and up to code.  They could really be proud of the installation once done.  I haven't had a minutes trouble from the water heaters since the work was done over a month ago.  Use these guys.  They are not the cheapest, but they are the best and that cost us less in the long run. <br />"
