"We have worked with Don and his team previously for a smaller project to replace cedar siding. He is very honest and fair and we like his work, so we already knew we would work with him on this project. Don helped us choose our windows and planned the project such that we could save all of the interior trim. He added window trim to the exterior, which really improved the curb appeal of our house. He also added a new design to the area underneath the new large bay window on the outside, which really looks great. In addition, he replaced a large segment of wood on the corner of our house that was previously repaired in several pieces. It was something that we hadn't noticed before, but it looks much better now. Don is very experienced and he has a great eye and design ideas. Don and his team led by Andrew were very punctual. Once the job was started, they worked consistently to finish it in a timely manner. Everyone was very courteous and skilled. "I needed to replace my hot water heater and wanted it done ASAP. As usual, I checked reviews on Angie's List and called several area plumbers. Most could not get to me for a day or two. When I talked to Benjamin Franklin's contact person, Chris, she took my information, gave me an exact and guaranteed price quote and said someone would get there later in the day. Within 30 minutes, she called back and informed me she found a plumber who would be over within the hour. The technician, Mike S., also called to let me know he was on his way. The replacement required some creative problem-solving, and Mike S. answered the challenge in a calm and intelligent manner. He worked quickly without rushing and explained to me much of what he was doing (I tend to ask a lot of questions). All went very well, including a thorough clean-up, and a careful removal of the old heater. I found the experience as stress-free as a plumbing emergency can go. Next plumbing job I need, I'll most assuredly be calling Benjamin Franklin."

Charlie, the salesman, was a delight to work with, very responsive to our questions and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't want.   <br /> Today was install day and Mr. Cramer was here when he said he would be. His crew was very polite, they cleaned up after the work was done, explained how the windows work and were gone by early afternoon. The windows all work very nicely, were very clean and look really nice. Our little community has about 150 units and, from the outside, we have the neatest looking windows here......well, us and our next-door neighbors who had Mr. Cramer do their windows earlier this summer. <br /> A really good company, with old-fashioned values and work ethic - would hire them again in a NY minute to do anything they say they can do. "<p>These were the 5 upstairs windows on my house.  4 years earlier, Pella had installed similar windows downstairs and I had been very happy with the job.  Not so this time.  Initial installation in December 2014 was fast and seemed fine.  Later, however, I walked outside and realized the external cladding had not been caulked and was starting to separate from the frame.  I called the project manager who inspected the job, agreed with my assessment, and had the installer contact me to arrange to come and put it right.  He kept delaying the job because he was busy on other projects, and on one occasion failed to turn up when he said he would. When he finally came he and his assistant spent only 40 minutes on the entire job.  On checking I saw he had still only partially caulked the cladding.  The perimeter of the cladding, where it contacts the wooden frame was still not caulked, and rain could get in.  I compared the installation with the downstairs windows done earlier, so I could see how the upstairs ones should have been caulked.  When I showed the installer what he had not finished, he said if I wanted he would come back in the Spring and finish the caulking.  I told him not to bother, since I figured I could do a better job myself.  Pella needs to hire and train more professional people.  I purchased a premium product, but I received much less than premium service.</p> <p>This is a postscript, to report on action taken by the company as a result of my complaint.  The project manager returned to my house and confirmed that the outside cladding had not been installed to their standards.  The next day, a different installation team came, removed the cladding and replaced it with new material.  They were thorough, professional, and did an excellent job.  If I had received this level of service initially, I would have given an overall "A".  It is to Pella's credit that they returned to make good on the work.<br /> <br /></p>"

"The team from NAVCO was excellent. Rob was our initial contact, and he was great at communicating throughout the process. The team provided options and we selected what we thought was best for us, there was no up-selling or pressure. We had gotten estimates from 3 companies, and felt the NAVCO price was fair and reasonable. On the day of install, they brought a large crew and the work was done quickly and neatly. They cleaned up as they went along and before they left, sweeping up any debris and wiping down the installed windows. It was one of the best experiences that I have had with a local contractor in the area. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others."

"This is the second time I used them. The first time I loved them, the second time not so much. They had a new guy working for them and he did not fit the metal above the windows correctly. They also left scraps of metal all over my yard and I had to go out and clean up after them."

"I visited the showroom to see the various enclosure options. They were very helpful and provided insightful suggestions and recommendations. They patiently answered my questions and provided the pros and cons of each enclosure style. Once I selected the styles and options, they provided an estimate for both shower enclosures. When the general contractor doing the bathroom remodeling had each shower area ready, they measured for each enclosure, checked walls to ensure they were squared to the base and made adjustments in measurements to account for differences. The installations were scheduled and the installers arrived as arranged. They did an excellent job, working quietly and efficiently.  They protected the shower bases and bathroom floor tile as they worked. They carefully cut the Zodiaq quartz top to the shower bench to accommodate the channel for the glass wall. There have been no issues with either shower installation in the year and half since they were installed. <br /> I highly recommend working with Precision Glass and Aluminum. It was a pleasant experience, and the product and service were excellent. <br />"
