"Gibson White was recommended to me by the Noritz company as a certified installer. He provided a free onsite estimate. He then appeared to do research so that he would be fully prepared to do the work. He was very pleasant and professional to deal with. He had 2 men working with him who were also very pleasant. The job took longer than expected and cost much more money than expected because the gas pipes in the house had leaks and had to be changed. National Grid had to be called 3 times because of the gas pressure coordination, but the timing worked out well and the job got finished. It took 2 days to complete the work and Gibson was on the job for the full time. Considering that the gas pipes had to be replaced unexpectedly, the work went well and we now have hot water in the house. I would highly recommend hiring Gibson. I rated B for the price because I did not get an itemized bill with the breakdown of materials and labor. I received a list of what was done and a price for each thing. Considering the number of hours spent, the number of men on the job and the cost of the tankless hot water heater (listed on the website), I thought the price was very high. I do understand that there are other hidden costs involved, but I still felt the price was very high. I did not complain because I was satisfied with the work and the men were very pleasant and professional. I had extensive electrical work done in my house is Brooklyn and I got and itemized bill of materials and labor and I was very glad to pay the price because I understood what I was paying for."

"The most recent repair was to a gas boiler. I called the office when we realized there was no heat, around 8:30 am. Robert called about an hour later, and arrived around noon. He quickly diagnosed that two switches had failed (which is pretty unlikely). As always, the service was 100% professional. Price was fair. Lynbrook Plumbing has been my go to plumbers for over 30 years, when they did a complete bathroom renovation for us in our first home. I have relied upon them for gas conversion, boiler repair, hot water boiler installation and radiant heat repairs. Always responsive and professional."

"They are very good. I had them in my house twice. I paid $800 for the parts and the labor. We had a pricey piece of apparatus in our bathroom that's why it became pricey. The part itself was $400. We had no other choice and we had to stay with that because if they were going to take and put a cheaper one in, then it would be more costly for them to go in through the wall. It would be a big mess. They do an excellent work. They were reasonable with the prices. The labor became a little bit more with the part we had because we had to pay the guy for his time going to the store to pick up the part because we didn't know what part it was, so we had to pay for the time and his transit to get to the store and get it back. I understand what they were going to charge accordingly, but that was the only bad part that I was paying for time for the guy to be on the road, instead of him being in the house doing the repair. He had to take the thing apart to figure out what was broken in it and then when he saw what was broken, then he had to take the broken part with him and go to the store, so he could replace the exact part and come back with it. I had them originally three or four months before for a faucet and I had a pipe that was leaking in another bathroom, so that's how I got them back for this job."
