"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. "We hired New Tile for two separate bathroom projects in our home. The first being a Kids Bathroom remodel which included gutting the existing bath floor and removing the tub surround. New Tile prepared the walls and floors and installed tiles around our tub and on an accent wall as well as tile on the bathroom floor. Our second project was our Master Bath addition where we converted a second walk in closet to a bathroom. The New Tile team helped us decide on what materials to use and also provided a job well done in there. The master bath work included preparation and installation of tile on our glass enclosed walk in shower, installing electric heat cables on our bathroom and shower floor as well as installing tile on our soak in tub backsplash including a custom build recessed niche with glass and stone mosaic tile. "Augustine and his crew provided exceptional, quality work for a number of different projects, as we have begun a comprehensive "make over" of our family home. Their work focused on exterior projects, including removing and replacing the back deck, with a brand new handcrafted deck, using high quality lumber, crafted to be a natural fit with the house and with the natural landscaping. The work also included a complete removal and replacement of the exterior cedar shingles, which had not been replaced since the house was built more than 40 years ago; during the course of their work, the crew identified multiple places where a combination of either termite damage, woodpeckers or other wood rot had damaged the wood beneath the shingles; after consultation and recommendation we decided on additional rot-remediation strategies, including some small 'rebuilding' projects at specific sections. In addition, all of the windows were replaced, and the back slider door (onto the deck) was also replaced. The additional focus was to upgrade the energy efficiency of the house as a whole - the choices of materials, the incorporation of new insulation (which had not been installed when the house was first built, as its initial intended use was for summertime purposes only) and the detailed efforts to restore the integrity of the exterior, have all added up to a house that looks and 'feels' like brand new. The sum total of this work is a house that has been modernized and updated in a way that will last another 40 years! Needless to say we are so thrilled with the results of this work. And I can't say enough about the professionalism and responsiveness of this team, and Augustine's attention to the details of this work, but also his efforts to understand our needs (and financial limitations) and yet to help identify ways to both address our situation but also capitalize on opportunities to repair or restore the house in ways to meet our goals."
