Small jobs welcome

"Highly recommend. Two amazing young men, Brice and Avery, who know what they’re doing. Very prompt, attention to detail and great communication. Very eager to please and quite professional. They have retiled a large shower for us, beautiful. Completed a huge deck plus trex boards. Looks fantastic. Got a rental property ready for us to sell: repaired whole wall, resealed bathtub enclosure, repaired an awful window situation, painted decking, and repaired crown molding. Sold 2 weeks later. Great company. Highly recommend."

"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb. The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"Job went very well. The guys who did the on-site work with the equipment were very efficient, very capable, and very much willing to accommodate owner wishes. There was slight confusion about the terms of the contract. Nothing major but I would suggest that such a contract be as detailed as possible and the owner should be sure to obtain a copy that has the signature of the appropriate business representative so there is as little confusion as possible about the terms of the contract. <br />"

"At first sight, it looked really good. Upon closer inspection there were numerous nail heads that were sticking out from the siding. I also had requested that 6" fly rafters be installed on the shed. It was obvious that the fly rafters were not 6" wide, only 4" wide. It was not long before one of the doors started to warp as well. The shingles at the ends of the shed were trimmed irregularly so that they were short in one area and longer in another. I called the owner, John, and expressed my concerns. He wanted to wait until the weather got better to make the repairs. I agreed to wait since this seemed like a reasonable request. In the meantime, two of the sheets of siding had actually some loose from the studs and the door warped so badly that I had to break the hasp in order to get into the shed. After the weather got better in the spring, I waited to hear from him about when they would make the repairs. After a couple of emails and a phone call he finally agreed to send some men out to make the repairs. Unfortunately, the weather became very wet and the repairs were postponed until it would be easier to get to my shed since it is pretty far back on my property. After a couple of months of waiting and more emails, a repair crew finally arrived. They replaced the warped door, fixed the shingles, and reattached the siding. They were supposed to have delivered a check for the difference in the price between the 4" fly rafters and the 6" fly rafters. This was not delivered. Upon close inspection of the new door, the trim that was used was of different thicknesses so that the trim joints were not flush. I called John, and emailed pictures, of this sloppy craftsmanship. He said he would send someone out to fix it , along with the refund check, as soon as possible. It never happened. I finally tired of having to call and email over and over again to try to get what I wanted. I caulked the bad joints and made them look as good as possible so that I could get a good coat of paint on the shed before winter got here. Others may have had a good experience this company, but mine has been nothing but one of frustration and dissatisfaction. <br />"

"The contractor from Pella arrived on time on the scheduled day ready to go to work. We were told previously that it will take at least two days to complete the installation of both doors and both screen doors. The contractor worked on our back door first--this door was the harder of the two as it had to be custom made and fit for size for both the door and the screen door. Both of these doors were cut and installed perfectly. Our front door was next to be installed. Upon loading the front door off the truck and into the house, the contractor noticed that our front door was damaged. Rather than install this damaged front screen door, the Pella installer took it upon himself to tell me about it and that he knows I would not be satisfied, of course not, with a damaged front screen door. The installer finished with installing just the front door. Unfortunately, we had to wait a few weeks for the screen door to come in although I really appreciated him putting himself in my shoes knowing that I would not want a damaged front screen door! <br />After several weeks, our new front screen door is ready to be installed. This time we had a different installer who arrived almost an hour after the designated window period...beginning to think he wasn't coming at all. My father in law was at our home during this installation as we could not take off from work another day. When my husband and I arrived home later that day, we realized the screen door was not aligned properly upon closing the door and the latch mechanism was not properly installed causing it to scratch when the door was closed. I contacted Pella several times and after leaving several messages, my call was returned and I was told someone would be in my area and would look at the door. At this point, my husband and I had to travel so we were not home after a Pella rep looked at our door. We waited for some type of message but received none. Again, I called to have someone come to my house to explain why the door still does not appear to be closing properly. At this time, when I talked with Pella I asked if the installer of my front screen door was the same as my back door. Unfortunately, it was not. It now seemed to me that since I only needed the one door installed, an "apprentice" installer was sent to my home to finish the job. Finally, on November 10th Pella made a visit to our home and satisfactorily explained the installation of our front screen door to my husband. <br /> <br />From this experience, I would demand an experienced door installer. Not that I would have minded an apprentice coming along, in our situation it resulted in poor workmanship, delay and customer frustration. <br /> <br />The quality of both doors and both screen doors is wonderful, along with the door knobs. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in East-springfield, OH

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
