"Everything Mike said he would do, he did. The old caulking needed removed first, and that was a lot of prep work, especially on the second story windows. We went a little over the project estimate, but that was due to the amount of prep time it took. No mess was left after the work. Communication was excellent all the way. "I originally gave Barnett's an A but now as I went back in to install the wall sconces and outlet covers, (we had the carpet cleaned so this is the first time this could be done) I noticed that most of the corners were missed and one wall has to be completely repainted so many spots were missed. The room is dark with dark colors but they knew that from the start and that was discussed. My wife and I will repaint all of the trim (brush strokes) and the south wall. Hopefully it will match (flat burgundy) so we do not have to repaint the entire room. Really disappointed. Picture of wall is just a sample - there are many spots like this."

He does an excellent job wrapping the exterior of the window with metal, resulting in a beautiful finished look. He is quite compulsive with insulation and caulking as well. He removed all the old windows and debris and left a clean job site. Couldn't ask for better work.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
