"The walkway next to my garage foundation had sunk about 4 inches. By mudjacking it was raised to the original level and the rain runs away from the foundation instead of running down the foundation. Great job and they explained the process as it was being done. Very satisfied."

"
Basements Love US came out in a terrible rain storm to address a water leak in my concrete basement. They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high. They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio. They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. "Matt was very professional. He found the exact source of our water leak, replaced the flashing on the chimney, rebuilt the top of our chimney and added a strong concrete cap. Matt cleaned up after every day of work and answered all of my questions before and during the job. He did the work about 3 years ago and the leak hasn't returned. I would definitely hire him again ."

"Since I had never had any experience hiring a contractor in the past I was quite apprehensive about making the final decision on who would take the responsibility to put a brand new face on my home. After the ice & snow brought down my rear patio roof crushing my outdoor spa & furniture I was devestaed & thought I would never have that back to it's original glory.
I could not be happier after the 8 week long dealings with Penn Contractors. It is not only back & beautiful, it's better then before.
The 22 year old aluminum siding was removed & new vinyl siding was installed along with new plastic shutters & new door should in the front of my home. They even went above & beyond filling in some bare spots on my back lawn with soil & grass seed while fixing the areas that were originally disturbed by construction.
Adjectives to describe my personal experience;
-Professional
-Courteous
-Detailed
-Friendly
-Craftsman
-Knowledgeable
-Punctual
-Last, they were very nice to my annoying Pomeranian.

"

"Ray Brown Jr. came to my house when he said he would be there. This was a late day emergency - no water from any faucets. He troubleshot the situation, found the solution and fixed the problem in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very fair price.
"

"
Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work. In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".

At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking. Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate. Don't find that much in the labor force today! It spoke volumes to me. When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.

The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation. On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system". After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter

pipes down to bedrock. Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location. Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift. From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".

We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes! They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!

All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing! We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.

Thanks so much again. We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your

expertise, kindness, and professionalism.

Mike and Cheryl

"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in East-texas, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
