"Overall the multiple projects went well. More costly than expected but we did receive some discounts which helped. The only one item I would mention is that we bought an incorrect faucet/drain combination. The tech replaced the drain components but since the faucet we had was designed to have a pull lever for the drain, and the one he used was a push down stopper, the hole where the pull up leveler would have gone stayed opened. It does not look good so we now need to live with it."

"I found this plumber on Angie's list from my mother-in-law who lives in McKeesport and is moving into a new home. The utility tub would not turn off and he was there within the hour once she called. Not only did he fix this immediately, he replaced her shower head, gave her a gas line in to her stove so that she can convert it from electric to gas, fixed something on the water heater, and I think he did some other things as well. The price was extremely reasonable, he was pretty amazing and took a lot off my plate, since I really am not capable of doing these things. You will not be disappointed with this plumber."

"There was water in the basement. The plumbers came and said there was something clogging the drain and that the terra cotta sewer pipes had collapsed. They gave me an estimate to fix it. I was upset that it was so high and they asked for a down payment. I asked why it cost so much and they said they didn't know the extent of the problem yet. They did come on Nov. 11th to fix it, but they left half of the concrete they dug up there. They didn't have room in their truck because they had to go buy a hot water heater for someone else and while they were in Butler, they wanted to get it since they live in Karns City. About 2 or 3 days later they came and picked up the concrete, but they left dust all over the floor. They did not bring a shop vac, and they used my broom to clean up the dust. There are still pieces of concrete on the floor, the floor is dusty, and there is a sewer gas smell. I didn't notice it right away because I had a sinus infection which impaired my sense of smell. One of them came out to fix it, but the smell came back. They have never come back after repeated calls. I only got a receipt for the down payment of $1368.75. I never got a receipt for the work done on Nov. 11th and no contract at all which they initially discussed. I don't know if they charged me the balance of $2833.31 or only $1500 which was what came out of my bank account. My card wasn't working right, so I may have paid the balance from another card. I want an accounting of the payment from Nov. 11th."

He quickly repaired the short term problem of a clogged drain and gave me good advice on what repairs that will need to be done in the future. I never felt pressured to have done more than needed to be done and I appreciated the time he took to explain each step of what he was doing. My only surprise was that there was a $100 fee added because I had used an acid drain clearing product. I found the rationale that their snake would be damaged plausible. Still they arrived in about an hour after I called and I was given a warranty of one free service if the pipe clogged again within a year. Overall, a good experience even if it was a bit more than I was expecting to pay."
