"All Star Rooter was fantastic. gave me a straight assessment of the odds for my cleaning out my leaching field through removing roots and then blowing out with water which I appreciated. Odds were not good but we decided to go ahead rather than go straight into a replacement. Brian and team came over to take a look at our situation before starting and asked again if we wanted to proceed. He was professional and efficient and best of all it worked! I would highly recommend All Star Rooter’s services whether it worked for us or not."

"Went well. I thought that I might need a new trap or elbow since water was leaking. As it turned out, it was the sprayer that was leaking and not the elbow. The tech did not try to oversell me all new plumbing and I appreciate that."

"Bathroom plumbing problems are always unpleasant and very inconvenient.. But with Rapid Repairs you have professionalism, punctuality and a willingness to take the time to make certain the job is well done. As Mr. Miller worked diligently we enjoyed great conversation and he shared some maintenance tricks with me to keep my plumbing in good working order. While I still hate plumbing problems, meeting Mr. Miller was a great experience and next time I need a plumber, he will be my first call and I will be referring him to my friends..

"HARP gave us text and email notices prior to arriving, including a photo of our technician so we knew who to expect. He was very thorough and did a great job cleaning and inspecting. He did find a rusted part that needed to be replaced, which he did during the same appointment. Received in-time estimates and invoices by email so we were very clear on what we were getting an paying for. Very professional and supportive of clear electronic and verbal communication. Would definitely recommend to others."

"

Came promptly at appointment  time

Completed the hot water heater flush and set the temperature for me.

Checked all plumbing connections and made recommendations about what was good and what needed attention

Gave me a written estimate of what recommended repairs would cost if I chose to do them.

No pressure from them to do them now.

Very courteous and pleasant.

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Easton, CT

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
