"Bryan Casey Construction brought an end-to-end approach to our project. Standing alone, the design work and construction were outstanding. But the integrated experience was highly differentiating. The original bid was detailed and clearly set expectations. The work crews were hard working, detail oriented, professional and engaging. Great experience!"

"It went well. I felt very comfortable with Doug and his team whether I was working from home or in the office. They were professional and easy to get along with answering all my questions. The workmanship was high quality and I would use them again for other construction/carpentry work."

"Austin fixed our broken old kitchen into something we can show off. He listened to exactly what we wanted and helped us engineer solutions to any unexpected issues. He's just one guy with a lot on his plate but that didn't stop him from showing up and doing amazing work until the project was done and done right."

"I wasn't too happy with the results we got when trying to get a bid from Young. After coming out and getting my ideas and measurements they came back saying that they were going to decline the offer saying due to time sensitivity and budget they were not going to be able to submit a bid. When originally speaking with Young he said time shouldn't be an issue if we got started right away and never asked me my budget range before coming out. Personally, I don't think the job we were asking to get done was worth what they were trying to put it in the price range of (50-75k). I guess I'll just have to look in to a smaller company that seems more reasonable...  "

"We used Foundation1 to completely rebuild 2 basement walls and push another one back up and support it. They did a great job and done it quickly and professionally. I do not live in the KC area and needed to find a contractor that could be counted on to be honest and stand behind their work. Foundation1 has fit that bill. The work I had done was a year and a half ago and the basement has stayed dry the whole time. Definitely would recommend!!"

"The company sent 2 workers. They installed some lights. I wanted them to do some work in my basement but they didn't do it correctly. Overall, it didn’t go well. They didn’t complete the job to my satisfaction."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Easton, KS

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
