They do not use high pressure sales tactics, which I really appreciated given experiences with other competitors in the industry. Their office is easy to work with, and so is their service manager and technicians. I've been working with Polar Seal for several years now, and they ended up installing all of the windows in my home, in addition to a couple sliding doors. In the rare instance where we've had a quality issue, their service techs visit right away and fix the problem - no questions asked. When the last batch of windows got installed we did end up with an unexpected order error which was partially my fault and partially theirs. I worked with Polar Seal's president to come up with a mutually agreeable solution and couldn't be happier with the end result. Seeing the company work through this with me, and avoiding something that could have easily gone the other way, made me an even bigger fan of this company. If you're looking for windows, I strongly suggest considering Polar Seal!"

"Quality of product installed and workmanship I am pleased with. However, post install is why I have deemed necessary to leave this review. The crew left food waste in our yard and gutters. Lawn was not adequately swept for nails and staples. Upon reinstalling my TV antenna, observed pieces of shingle, siding, aluminum flashing, nails and staples in one gutter. This prompted me to inspect all gutters, where I found more of the same. Had two exhaust vents installed for bathroom fans. The crew did not leave necessary couplers to connect provided duct to vents in attic. The project manager provided necessary couplings by personally delivering to my house which I am appreciative of. Discovered packaging material from shingles, along with shingle remnants in my attic. The sales presentation and documentation was why I chose Palmer Construction over lowest bidder, about $5000. The owner and sales person have yet to reply to my emails and/or phone messages. The project manager is the only staff who contacted me and followed up. Not how I would run my business or manage my staff. They also jeopardized an opportunity to earn an additional project. I got a new roof which hopefully will last until I move and they got my money."

"I hired Ellief Brothers to replace the roofs on my house and barn after storm damage. Unfortunately, I?ve had ongoing issues with the barn roof. Every time it rains or snows, it leaks. Instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to blame me for their improper installation. They were also not upfront about the total cost until after the old roof had already been removed. Additionally, no waivers or disclosures regarding the installation were ever presented or signed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company and believe you would be better off hiring a smaller contractor who provides better workmanship at a fraction of the cost. I also have numerous photos available for anyone who would like to review them before hiring this company."
