"In June of this year we needed to have our 9 year old house painted, along with replacing some weather damaged trim around our windows. We hired a painting contractor who claimed to know what he was doing. Instead of replacing the trim he tried to caulk, fill, and cover up the old rotten boards. He watered down the paint and then proceeded to use one very thick coat instead of the two coats he promised. He ended up destroying our soffit and siding. He also damaged the weep holes on most of our lower level windows. We were left with a huge mess, and lost half the money we paid up front. I reached out to a full list of contractors to repair our home. Most of them were shocked at the damage that was done, but seemed to be to busy or not interested in helping us out. In comes Gray Huskie Custom Exteriors. I called and left a message with Miguel, and he called me back within less than a half hour to schedule a time to come out to our house that same evening for a bid. Miguel and his son were professional, knowledgeable, and presented us with a very fair estimate. Within three weeks they were on the job and working hard to fix our home. We were so impressed with Miguel and his crew. It was so nice to have a contractor show up on time, and always let us know ahead if there was a change in the schedule. "I contacted Alliance Roofing, Dave Heath, came out the same day I called.  He gave me his professional opinion and options to consider due to the age of my roof and damage we had incurred.  He also educated  me in how to choose a quality shingle.   
The quote he gave me was very reasonable.  I decided to have Alliance replace the shingles on the entire roof. 
The installer that came out was also very experienced and prompt .  The roof looks great and I'm very satisfied.  I would not hesitate in using them again or referring them to a friend of family member.

I want to add that I dislike having work done here by persons who travel great distances from their site to get here. The gasoline expenditure is too much! Ogden, the home base of this contractor, is quite far. But a local roofer wanted $500 to make the repair; I couldn't pass up the offer!

"I hired Optimum for a leak in my range hood which exhausts via my roof. Nate came by to take a look, explained my options and promptly fixed the leak. Their quality of work is excellent but I especially appreciate their communication and problem solving. I'll definitely be hiring them again!"

"I originally called them because I could see the stucco was peeling off one side of my chimney. Mike and Stan came out immediately but they couldn't get on the roof because of lightening, wind and rain. So they came out the next day when they could get on the roof to do a thorough inspection. They gave me an initial bid of $1,450. They arrived promptly as scheduled to set up scaffolding and get to work. As they got into the job, we found the water damage was more significant than expected and the wood on the entire west side of the chimney would have to be replaced. This wasn't something you could see from the initial inspection because this area had been repaired before by a different contractor. During the entire process, they kept in good communication with me, they reviewed the changes and costs before doing any work to make sure I could see what was happening and feel comfortable with the scope of work. Also, we talked about how the snow naturally piles up against this part of the chimney in the winter and ways we could minimize this type of damage in the future. Overall, they were punctual, did everything they said they were going to do, communicated well, cared about providing a quality service, and I felt that their pricing was fair.....and they are good guys! I would hire them again, and would recommend them to anyone needing stucco repair."
