There are splinters in the doorway, the entire perimeter is rough and uneven, some of the planks that were newly replaced were cracked and filled with wood filler, nail holes were not filled, they used two different varnishes, there is a gap between the flooring and the cabinet, they did not varnish the floor under/behind the refrigerator, the crew damaged multiple pieces of brand-new furniture and appliances. I also discovered that the crew was drinking beer while working. My husband immediately requested that a new/different contractor be brought in to rectify the mess that HQF had made of our floors. However, we both decided to give them a second chance only if they would send a new crew of workers, ensure that the equipment was functioning properly, and refrain from rushing the job.
