"Nick came to assess my fireplace to determine how much work was needed to replace the burner and logs. He determined that the old unit was still working and good enough to keep, so he cleaned it up and reset it for us, saving us the cost of the new unit. Very professional and in the business to service rather than sell. Would highly recommend hiring Truco for fireplace repairs and maintenance. "

"The 11-year old furnace would not fire during the worst cold spell of the year on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, I logged in HomeAdvisor and requested a repair service in my area. Within less than one hour, I received a call from All in One Heating in Elizabeth , CO. The repairman (Chris) told me he would come within three hours and said the trip charge will be $140. He arrived as promised. He diagnosed the problem (clogged pressure switch drain line) in ten minutes and restarted the furnace. He charged me $140. I will use All In One Heating again when I need HVAC service. Courteous, professional, competent and fair priced service. I highly recommend this company."

"Tipping hat has talented employees that do safe, clean, and complete work! I highly recommend them! We are no longer cold in our house thanks to Mark J, and service pros Jeremy D and David B. Mark J. the supervisor on our furnace installation project was the first person we met from Tipping Hat. He is kind, understanding and respectful. He took time to thoroughly examine our complicated and difficult heating situation and was able to explain what needed to be done and why. All of our questions were promptly answered, he was always available for a phone call and put extra effort into creating a plan and setting up a team to get started on our project right away. Mark was considerate of our feelings, always reassuring us and promptly addressing all of our concerns. Jeremy D. Tipping Hat's Service Pro, provided extraordinary service during the installation of our new furnace! He is punctual, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We were comfortable with him in our home, as he took great care installing our new thermostat and kindly showed us how to use it. Jeremy was very patient and took time to answer all of our questions. He went above and beyond to ensure that we received exactly what we needed AND he saw to it that the work was up to code and done properly! We are so appreciative of his compassionate understanding of our situation and his prompt completion of a large, heavy duty job that required hours of hard labor. Tipping Hat's Service Pro, David B. was able to complete work on the installation of our furnace in some really tight spaces. He had to deal with a tiny, dirt crawl space underneath the house and was able to re-attach ducts to the vents in our home. He was positive, pleasant and hard working. I feel confident referring others to Jeremy D, David B, and their Supervisor, Mark J."

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Elizabeth, CO

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
