"I would highly recommend Aluminum Company of NC. Several years ago, we had a large window replaced over the front door entry way. This year we noticed the window was smokey, called them up and sent a photo, window replaced no questions! They stand behind their lifetime warranty! After such great customer service, we just had all 19 windows replaced in our house. I would rate their customer service and installation team a 10! Showed up on time every day, cleaned away debris, and provided instructions on cleaning and care. Aluminum Company of NC thank you for great service. We love your new windows! R. Mangum"

"Marc was prompt, courteous and professional from the first contact until the job was completed. We compared his product and price with a competitor and found him to be the best person for the job. He completed the job in the time frame he laid out and left the area as clean (or cleaner) than before he came. If there were an A+ rating, I would give Solace that rating. You can't go wrong with Marc!"

"From the time if the initial estimate to the installation, everything went smoothly. I decided to change to a metal roof because I was renovating the room that has a low slope rubber roof and have had several leaks. I was not about to add insulation and a new ceiling and have to deal with a potential for leaks. Thus, I felt a metal roof would be the best option. Because I only have 2 X6 with no attic  I decided to add foam board insulation to the roof deck and Dave gave me a fair price. I'm glad I added the foam board to deck and it gives me extra pitch too. Dave upgraded the ice and snow membrane at no extra charge. The workers were great and they stayed late to ensure that the roof was sealed before they left because there was a chance of showers. Additionally, they sealed all of my roof penetrations on the rest of my house and  fixed some shingles had a previous leak without me asking at no charge! Wow what service. <br />"

"It went marvelously. Dan came to the house at exactly the appointment time for the estimate and explained what they would need to do. His crew, Will and Fazel stayed until almost dark to get the gutters installed. We were expecting a major storm within a day and I was very concerned about the amount of water that was going to be around my foundation on the house. <br /> I was so pleased with how the house looked after the installation of the gutters.  The crew matched the paint on the replacement wood exactly so it looked like it had been replaced. In fact, I was so pleased with the gutters that I hired Gutter Pro back to install leaf guards on the gutters and would not have considered hiring any other company to do it.  <br />"

"We're very happy with the work done by the Window Gang. They arrived promptly and quickly got to work, making sure to be careful with landscaping, screens, outdoor furniture, etc. They worked for several hours and everything looks great. We have a few patios and walkways that do not drain well, which was problem when we pressure-washed ourselves because of the amount of water used. The used a "scrubber" with minimal water to clean the surfaces and then did the final pressure wash and pushed off any residual water. Looks very professional. They carefully removed and reinstalled all of our window screens to wash the glass thoroughly. <br />"

"This is the second time I have used this company to replace my entire roof, (both due to severe hail damage). <br /> Excellent sales people who know their business. Full explanation of services and what work would be performed. Date was scheduled and sure enough, 7:00 am on day of work to start, 18-20 people show up to begin work. It was amazing, within 10 hours, the old shingles and tar paper off and new paper, new shingles, ridge vents were on. All of my plants and outside areas protected by tarps. The cleanup was also amazing. <br /> This company is also scheduled to replace my gutters and downspouts this week and I'm sure it will go as well as roof. <br /> Hopefully I will not need another roof in the future. I highly recommend this company for their service and professionalism. <br />"

"Dennis was great and very professional. I spoke with him after purchasing the deal and received constant communication until the job was complete. He repaired and replaced my shingles that were blown off from the recent storm and cleaned up upon completion. I felt confident with his work and will definitely recommend him to others."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Elizabethtown, NC

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
