",After interviewing several well-known custom builders (several of whom advertise "custom homes on your lot") we were fortunate to have been given the name Potter House Group.  The President of Potter House Group met with us personally and we presented him with a situation that other custom builders who wanted to charge us up to 50% more than Potter House Group. 
Our situation was that lightning struck our custom home and it had to be razed with the exception of the concrete foundation and garage floor. "Job went excellent! Had a full remodel rip out old, in with new kitchen and dining area project. Empire took it head on and done an amazing job, I had an island, counters,cabinets and a pantry put in aswell as 8 floor trusses replaced and new hardwood. Shawn and the guys really exceeded my expectations. finished the job under budget and in a timely manner. will be a returning customer for a patio sun room. Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

"It went great . The contractor was very reasonable on price . He gave me an estimate and stuck with the estimate . He said he would start the work on May 30th and that is exactly what he did . He contacted me before that date and reminded that he would be coming . He started each day on time and he and his workers worked steady through the day . He kept me abreast of the progress each day and asked if everything was ok as they progressed . They did good quality work on each task that was contracted . Did a good clean up at the end of the job . I would recommend this company to anyone and look forward to any future work I may have a need for"
