We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! We will definitely be hiring them for all of our maintenance going forward! I give Nevermore Services five stars because that’s all I’m allowed to give!"

"Wonderful! The dryer vent was thoroughly cleaned, even of the beginnings of a bird's nest. The chimney was inspected first and was found to be in good condition so a cleaning was not needed and therefore not charged. I was provided a photo of some surface rust on the chimney cap for comparison with the next inspection. There was never any attempt to upsell or tack on additional costs or work, something I GREATLY appreciate! The technician called to ask if he could come about 1/2 an hour early and then thanked me for my flexibility! So nice and professional!!"

"Greg arrived on time and immediately took pains to secure our home from soot and dust. After the inspection, he explained and showed me what the problems were and what he would do to fix them and how much it would cost. I okayed his sweeping the chimney during this visit. I was so impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail, we made arrangements for him to return Monday and complete the repairs. Again, he arrived on time, prepared for the job and began immediately. The repair was completed and he was exactly on his estimate. I was very impressed and have recommended him to my neighbors. He has added pressure washing to his services and I am having him return and pressure wash our driveway and patio."

"Matt and Andrew were prompt and very professional. They carefully moved furniture, covered rugs, protected flooring, wore booties inside the house, and then put everything back when they were done.  <br /> <hr /> Of the 6 fireplaces in the house, 3 had pilot lights with gas log sets, 1 had a gas log set and the other 2 were wood-burners with a gas starter. On the pilot light sets, they removed and cleaned the glass doors, removed and cleaned the logs, vacuumed out dust, checked fittings and valves for leaks, checked the switches and explained to me how everything worked, including how to re-ignite the pilot, turn everything off and on, etc. I had asked about a potential leak at a switch for one of the pilot-operated fireplaces, and Matt checked the chimney at the roof and made recommendations for follow-up with the roofer for a potential minor flashing issue. <br /> <hr /> The main gas log set in the family room was inspected and cleaned as well; they removed the logs and the old, crappy looking "ember" material and replaced with updated materials. Prior to their visit, it looked like a fake log fireplace with "insulation"...now it appears more like real logs, with more realistic looking embers that don't look like R 19 fell from the chimney and landed on the logs. Very pleased with how that one turned out; exceeded expectations. <br /> <hr /> The basement wood-burners were also inspected; the previous owner told us he used one of the fireplaces "every day"...well, he clearly never had it cleaned. EVER. After getting huge piles of creosote out of the flue, Matt recommended a follow-up chemical cleaning as the video inspection still showed caked on creosote in the flue. He also advised not to burn wood in that fireplace until further cleaning could be done due to the potential fire hazard. I had a feeling that fireplace was going to be bad (based on other lack-of-routine-maintenance things we discovered after purchasing the home), but not that bad.  <br /> <hr /> As other reviewers had mentioned, the cost of these services is not inexpensive. However, it was well worth the price to learn the proper operation of all fireplaces in the house (since they are gas appliances), as well as gaining the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are in good working order. "We had discovered a very small leak in our MB closet and upon inspection found we had roofing issues. We had thought about patching the roof and Jerry was amicable with discussing our options and also provided a full replacement estimate. After debating with ourselves on which way to go we decided to have the entire roof replaced. Jerry's wife Pam is super to deal with and very customer oriented even though we changed our minds a couple of times during the intital "what to do" phase. Jerry and his crew showed up promptly bright and early on the day agreed upon. We have a very large roof with steep pitch and were doubtful his crew could finish the same day. They did finish the same day, cleaned up the yard, including debris and nails. The roof looks great! We have not found a single nail anywhere! I highly recommend Jerry and is company and would call them again in a second. If you are looking for honest, hard working, and friendly you need look no further than Jerry and his wife. <br />"

"Yilber is absolutely awesome - great communications and the quality of their work is beyond comparison. They use top-notch materials and other knowledgeable roofing people in our area said that the job they did is terrific. Also, the care that they took to make sure the lines on the roof were straight - even at the valleys where each shingle must be cut at an angle the lines are absolutely straight. This is our second experience with Artech and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They painted the vent stacks on the building a perfect matching color to the shingles, cleaned up the yard perfectly. My wife is a stickler for good work and was most complimentary about the quality of the job, the work ethic of the workers and the overall supervision and execution of the task. The price was right in line with other quotes but I can't imagine anyone could have done as good a job."
