First, installing a cap on a fireplace chimney last year (including sweep etc), second repacking a cap on a furnace exhaust pipe. Both times it was absolutely professional and an enjoyable experience. Quentin went the extra mile to make the job’s result look fantastic. "The Problem: I had a leak in my living room ceiling. I thought I needed the chimney repointed. I could not find a contractor on Angies List search who does that kind of work. I wrote to AL’s member services. They gave me a list of contractors. I selected A-Advanced Chimney Service. They were the only ones who specifically listed that as a service. The Inspection: They came and did a free inspection. They determined the Chimney Chase Cover was rusted with holes allowing water to enter. It needed to be replaced. They also offered “Flash Seal” a tar like sealant for the flashing. And “Chimney Saver” a clear water repellent sealer for the brick. I agreed to their estimate for everything. It also included a Chimney Cap. The Work: The work was done in one day. Tony the installer is very experienced and knowledgeable. I was surprised. Tony climbed up on the roof at about 11:00am and didn’t come down until around 5:00pm. The Execution: - The Chimney Cap is not plumb. It leans like the leaning tower of Pisa. I didn’t notice this until much later. - There was little cleanup. Months later I’m still finding screws and pieces of some tarred mesh material on the ground. - When Tony and his helper Tim arrived for the inspection they tore apart a sofa cushion. They needed it’s foam to keep from slipping on the roof. They didn’t remove all the padding. To this day I have white pieces of padding stuck to the roof shingles. - I called the manager Denise about this a couple of times. The first time she said she would send Tony over to fix the leaning cap and clean up. Tony never showed. Now with the Covid-19 situation she says she’ll send Tony over when things return to normal. - Lastly, during the install Tony needed a 1/4” drill screw driver. His was worn. I loaned him one. I didn’t get it back. Not a big deal but the rest of this is totally unsatisfactory. The Result: The ceiling no longer leaks."

"David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! We will definitely be hiring them for all of our maintenance going forward! I give Nevermore Services five stars because that’s all I’m allowed to give!"

"They took time to inspect chimney, roof area near chimney and attic. Very professional and his recommendations were consistent with contractor who I had give a recommendation. Took time to explain all options and offer choices and info on converting to electric as lowest cost option. Very honest and professional. Will definitely use this company for installation of damper. Called on his way in route and arrived on time. Was very pleased with the service."

".the inspector,vann showed up on time..he explained every detail.cleaned and inspected my one chimney,also used camera with video monitor so we could view inside the chimney...he suggested my chimneycap was rusty and in need of crown seal or new custom cap..both were kind of expensive..i decided hold off and maybe get the seal later..vann did not have the inspection forms with him but i did get the inspection report thru email 2 days later...i was happy with the service"

"Bryan was very professional but friendly. He did his job and inspected everything. I do need to address some rust issues on the roof cap but he said we could do that if we wanted, just a matter of using high heat paint. He did give us his cost if we wanted to use him. Also answered other questions I had. Overall, very satisfied and happy with Southeast Chimney. I will use them next year and my sister is getting an appointment also. Canton and Jasper are two places contractors don't like to go because of distance from Atlanta, Alpharetta, etc. Very satisfied. A+."

"Called M & C Roofing to see if someone could come out an give me an estimate to correct a major leak at my front porch. I was given a day and time agreeable for both of us. Marcus Clay showed up on time on the appt. date and inspected my roof. While up on the roof he took pictures of what was causing the problem and other areas that need to be corrected. Several of the problems were due to the builder not installing it correctly when the house was built. He gave me an estimate to correct all problem areas of the roof along with the water damaged plywood.  I agreed to the price and work described and Marcus said he would fax me a detailed estimate for my signature which he did the next day. The work was scheduled and completed on the day promised. The roof was water tested and a guarantee was given. Pictures where taken by David as he was making the repairs and also upon completion of the work. The pictures were emailed to me for my records. The work was completed and everything cleaned up in a timely manner.
I was very pleased by the professionalism and the quality of work performed by M & C Roofing and I will use and recommend them in the future.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
