Rich gave us his honest opinion that we were good to go for several more years and he charged only for the cost of coming out to inspect both the chimney and the vent line, as well as offering advice on what to look for ourselves. He strikes me as a very honest guy who won't try to provide any service you don't actually need. My only minor gripe was that it took several attempts over a couple of weeks to get an appointment with Chimney Plus, no doubt in part because it's the busy season. However, I'd rather schedule an appointment for far out in the future than not hear back at all."

"We were hesitant to go with Chimney Savers mainly because of the price - it was thousands more than the nearest competitive bid.  However, in retrospect, we made the right call. <br /> We have a chimney with two fireplaces, one on each floor. "Reached out to Peter by phone on a Friday afternoon for an estimate on a chimney cap and animal guard. Within 10 minutes I had an estimate and an hour later the crew was on the roof completing the job. While on the roof they found that the vent boot was completely deteriorated and replaced that as well. All communication before, during, and after the job was very professional and timely.
