"I hired Dalinghaus Construction to install two push Piers for a freestanding column/wall (bad clay soil causing movement). I meet with Kevin to go over the scope of work and he explained everything in detail. The price was the best I can find. Took one extra day to finish the work, but they did not charge me any additional fees. 3 month later, I had a feeling that the column/wall is moving again and call Kevin. He show up in a few days and show me there is no way that wall is still moving and he was right. They are very good at what they do and customer service is the best. Thank you very much."

"Bought a new home and had it remodeled. I started noticing a lot of cracks in my ceiling and thought the remodel was done poorly only to find out that it was actually a leveling issue due to my house settling. Guess that’s a common issue in Woodland Hills and homes built on slabs. I found sunshine builders and foundation repair on yelp and had them reassess my foundation. They fixed my leveling issue hassle free. Couldn’t be happier."

"Since Insurance would be involved, he let me know this was not a job his company would be able to work on. Adam was very straightforward and courteous. I understood his explanation and appreciated his time. He let me know of a couple extra things to check on, once the insurance claim was started. <br /> I would contact Adam again in the future for work that was not going to be covered under an insurance claim. <br />"

"All went precisely as planned. We were given a start date, a finish date and all hours that were to be involved. The work team arrived on time, ready for work and were very capable and pleasant. The project involved removal and disposal of an old, concrete patio and walkway and the replacement of same, but in beautiful Pennsylvania Blue Stone. Juan and his crew adapted to some changes we made “on the fly” and contributed their expertise to solving any problems, of which there were few. The only negative was, perhaps, the price but I’ve learned over the years that you get what you pay for. In this case it was well worth the small additional cost. HIghly recommended. (Total sq. Footage of patio and walkway = 600 square feet.)"

"We are very happy with the overall quality and professionalism of the work. We had Goldin Construction put a new roof on 2 Gazebos and our 2 Story home. We reused as many tiles as possible, and Shawn went out of his way to find the correct tiles to fill in and replace anything that was broken. We had a lot of broken tiles. It's rained quite a bit and no leaks at all, so we are very happy with the results. The roof looks great from the street also, all the tiles are matched."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Encino, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
