"I called to set up an appointment to evaluate our Whirlpool washing machine that was not spinning. We scheduled a time for the next day. Vee later called back and left me a message possibly changing appointment time. When I returned the call, he said that the original time would be OK. the next day he again called and left a message asking if the original time was still acceptable. When I returned his call a few minutes later he said that he was on his way to another appointment since I had not responded immediately after the last call and would have to come at a later time. When he did arrive, he quickly diagnosed the problem to a shifter, which he said he would have to purchase from a warehouse and would not have the part for 2 days. He said he should have the part no later than 1 PM on the agreed upon day, but when I called him at 1:30, he said he was going to pick it up then. He arrived later that day and repaired the washer. Price for the part was higher than could have been purchased on-line at ebay or amazon, but came with a 1 year warranty. Cost for the repair, including parts was $216. That seems to be comparable to what other appliance repair technicians would charge."
