"The sales person came out first to walk us through everything involved and the product options. We know we have horrible water, many of the neighbors have told us that appliances last max 5 years because of how hard the water is and how much lime/calcium build up is in it. The person pretty much confirms what we already know, thus the reason we are investigating a water system. He does an evaluation of our home on where a system could go and determines again what we had already suspected that it would need to be placed in our crawl space. This is the main reason we wanted to go with kinetico because it uses no electricity and because our crawl space does get water in it during periods of long and heavy rain and fast large snowmelt it is important for us to not feel worried about electrical issues. The day of installation arrives and the installation tech is very professional, he completes the installation as expected and spends at least another 45 minutes with me explaining the setup. He also goes over how to replace all filters, how to override the system if there is ever an issue and how to refill the tank, he showed me and let me do it 3 times so I was confident I could do it without assistance, he was so patient and knowledgable answering all of my questions. We've had the system 2 years now, we haven't had any issues, and it has been working great. We can finally actually drink our water the flavor before was just horrible. The water is completely clean no particles floating around in it. And since the installation I haven't had a single flare up of my eczema. In additional we no longer have to clean all our faucets every 3 months of all the heavy calcium/lime build up either, so we feel confident moving forward our appliances will stay in top working order, and any issues will not be due to the poor quality of our water. Honestly as pricey as this particular system is vs other options, we have found that it was well worth the additional costs and has saved us money in the long run on bottled water which we had to use for everything before. Our neighbors went with a cheaper option as did a friend in a neighborhood close by and neither of them are able to drink the water without additional filters and both their systems use electricity and take up precious storage space in their"

"My parent's home had a water heater malfunction in an attic at their condo on a Friday. The damage was extensive to multiple floors of their home, taking out the ceiling of one bedroom and flooding carpets on two floors. When contacted, Service Master took immediate ownership of the problem, sending a team of four who arrived at 11:30 PM on the same day and worked until 4:00 AM pumping out water and salvaging items. They were courteous, professional and extremely hard workers. They have continued with the demolition portion of the project and I can't believe how efficient they are, taking care to pack and store everything properly and clean up any mess before they leave. While I waited for what seemed like an excruciating 36 hours for my insurance company to call me back during regular business hours, Joe Lapp at SERVPRO of Hershey took our phone call at 4 in the morning. Even then, he was reassuring and agreed to meet me three hours later. He sat down with me, in a house full of smoke damage, and talked me through what to expect over the next few days. He took some of my and my children’s clothes and bedding and laundered them that day, and had a member of his crew spend the entire rest of the weekend cleaning a space for us in the house so that we had some basic necessities. 2) The employees at SERVPRO of Hershey are the kindest, most patient group of individuals I have ever worked with. Every morning, they arrived happy and treated myself and my young children with empathy. They guided our family through the process of going through our things room by room, and throwing out and documenting what could not be saved. They restored to perfection any items that could be saved. They never complained – not once – about how big this job was, how urgent some of the timelines were, and how complicated our insurance could be. They did extraordinary things for us while making them seem like no big deal. One example I will never forget is – when it was suggested that my 6 year old son throw out his beloved train collection, I asked if there was any way the trains could be save (even though it was not practical). One employee volunteered to take the task on. He took apart nearly 50 trains, cleaned them inside and out with a toothbrush, before putting them back together and returning them to my son. 3) SERVPRO of Hershey’s documentation is impeccable, professional and extraordinary. From providing photos of every item lost for our insurance, to providing hundreds of pages in rebuild estimates, they met to the letter all things required by our insurance and our mortgage – a staggering amount of work. 4) SERVPRO of Hershey are experts at what they do – the very best. They were able to guide us through multiple inspections, provide important documentation to our insurance, and work closely with our onsite adjuster. They performed or supervised all rebuild work, and made sure it was up to their high standards. I always felt that they were looking out for the safety and quality of the home they were rebuilding. 5) Their craftsmanship is impeccable. After the rebuild was done, the home looked truly “like it never even happened.” From restoring high end finishes, to important detail work , painting, flooring, an entirely new HVAC system, dry wall, vent work, eliminating odors, extensive cleaning – they cut no corners, used the latest technology to help with their work, and did an astonishingly amazing job. Despite how devastated the house was at first, everything was back to normal when SERVPRO of Hershey was finished. We chose to sell our home after the rebuild was completed. The home showed beautifully, and we had an offer in a matter of weeks. 6) SERVPRO of Hershey is the single most trustworthy contractor I have worked with. Our family did not live at the home during much of the rebuild. Joe and I communicated often daily with calls, e-mails and photos. I never once had to check on or worry about the quality or timeliness of his team’s work. 7) There were literally dozens of extraordinary ways Joe and his team helped us. A few other notables: • Joe used his industry connections to help us get our clothes restored in a record amount of time • The rebuild was delayed for months while our insurance company completed inspections, and SERVPRO of Hershey heated the home with an external furnace, attending to the furnace daily and checking thermometers in the home to ensure the home was not damaged further • Navigating a major insurance claim is complicated and seemed at times to take forever, but Joe knew just how to help us keep the project moving forward, and his company was eternally patient as we navigated that process • SERVPRO of Hershey personally delivered several important and valuable personal items to our family after they had been expertly restored, despite the fact that we had moved out of state SERVPRO of Hershey was an answer to many prayers during a challenging year for our family. "Company called within 24 hours of my purchase through Angie's List and scheduled the appointment on one of my preferred dates, between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.  It was one of the hottest days of the year so far.  The service provider called 15 min before 2:00 pm to explain that he was held up at his current service and would be a few minutes later than 2:00. I said that was fine as we did not expect him at the earliest time and we were at home all afternoon.  He arrived a short time later and cleaned the gutters in about an hour. "

"We are really happy with our beautiful new front doors and the work that ShreveCo’s employees, Kevin, Larry and Greg did. Randy at ShreveCo helped us decide the type of door to purchase and even the color! He wrote a contract for the materials and labor that we reviewed and signed. It did take some time arranging appointments and then for the doors at HMI, a Philadelphia company, to be built and spray painted. Because we have an almost 100 year old Craftsman bungalow, we had to have a custom front door made. Home Depot, etc. didn’t have the size nor style of dental molding (none) that we needed. HMI made a highly insulated fiberglass door with wood graining, 6 lights and no dental molding. Our back door was a standard size. We went with a wood grained steel door that was vertically half window. Both doors came pre-hung. Randy recommended that we purchase a standard Andersen storm door for the back and then he would install it. The Andersen order took longer than expected to arrive, pushing back the installation date. But ShreveCo was ok with that and even picked up the storm door for us. Our old house door openings were not square so a bit of extra measuring and custom trim sizing was needed, all done accurately and professionally. Its wonderful that our new doors are all airtight and open and close easily. The men moved the doorbell location and threaded a bell wire for us. The new doorbell button required a larger bore hole so Greg carefully made it larger. That was going the extra mile. The three men who worked on our house couldn’t have been nicer and more professional and I felt safe with them in the house. They were industrious and their work was thorough. If either my husband or I had questions they were happy to answer them. The job site was left clean and neat at the end of each day. While the time estimate was 2 days, it took ½ day longer mainly because of the extra work needed to fit our wonky door openings."
