"Paul Barton's (owner) work demonstrates his commitment to perfection and customer satisfaction. ALL of the cabinets were both built by and installed by Paul himself, who came out on several occassions to ensure we were in agreement on the layout and specific cabinet style requested for each piece. He also met our timeline, which was especially challenging (between Thanksgiving and Christmas). <br /> The great thing about using Paul is that he can do whatever you want (he never once said no or complained about what we wanted). We had some very specific requests, dimensions and layout ideas (all of which Paul accommodated or provided a better solution to). There were changes we requested throughout the build, which Paul accomodated as well (without changing his price).  <br /> The kitchen and laundry room are exactly what we wanted, at a lower price than we were able to find at any retailer or through any other contractor (we looked at a lot of places), plus Pauls' cabinets are all solid wood (3/4" boxes vs. partical board), were INSET (typically much more than regular cabinets), certain of them were painted (we could pick ANY color at Sherwin-Williams), the island was stained, some doors had glass, while others were wood. The INSET doors all line up PERFECTLY, if you know about cabinets, this is especially challenging. All of the other contractors who did work at our house after Paul (countertops, general contractor, tile guy, appliance guys) were equally impressed with his work.  <br /> Paul is also very clean and my wife and kids felt very comfortable around him and his assistant. Other places may provide fancier drawings or brochures (Paul drew our kitchen layout and dimensions with a pencil and notepad as we decided what we wanted), but don't let that get in your way of using him. He also provided us a quote on the spot and stuck to it. While it is a semi-leap of faith to pay someone 50% up-front several months in advance, I would do it again in a heartbeat. <br /> If I had to guess, probably 95% of Paul's work comes from referrals and word-of-mouth of actual customers and their friends who see his work at their house, which isn't a coincidence. If you're lucky enough to stumble across Paul (he's low key) do yourself a favor and get in the queue.  You won't regret it. <br /> <br />"

"We suffered from a sewage backup and the mitigation company tore up our kitchen including kitchen’s subfloor. We had to block that area using curtains because we don’t want anyone fall down there to the basement and break a leg! I called Joe for an estimate and he came out the same day. His guys put in the subfloor in a week. It was a great pleasure working with Joe. He accompanied us to various vendors and helped up picking out our cabinets, flooring and countertop. Everything matches very well. I changed my idea on the design several times and Joe has been very accommodating. His guys clean up the job site everyday so it was pleasant to live in the house during the construction. He is great with my dog. And the end product was stunning! We absolutely love our new kitchen. It looks like those in the catalog."

I need special cuts and shaping furniture legs to fit a new headboard. Jeff did an excellent job on the legs even staining them to match the original color. I had not expected that. "We met with Derek Centorbi at his showroom in June to start the design process. We had some ideas of what we wanted in the design but were also looking for creative input from him. He was responsive to our ideas and prepared a few designs with different options. We were working around hard wood floors being installed and he was willing to hold the cabinets at his shop for a few weeks until our contractor was ready for them. Derek was very prompt in returning phone calls/emails regarding details throughout our job. The cabinets were delivered without damage. He willingly made adjustments to some pieces as the contractor needed. Our cabinets are beautiful and Derek was a pleasure to work with. We were happy to give our job to a small business owner rather than a big box operation."
