"1960's home. Original copper and cast iron pipes. Well water. There was an extreme Sulfur smell that penetrated the whole system even with single stage carbon filters and a thorough bleaching and flushing of the system. All Affordable installed all new pex supply lines throughout the home, and replaced all the old drainage lines with PVC. There was an immediate improvement in the odor. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. They took precautions due to COVID. They laid tarps down to protect all the flooring, and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I was especially impressed by Juan and Cornel. The quote and Initial scheduling went very smoothly. They were prompt, friendly and informative, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, a couple of the items I had ordered from alternative suppliers were delayed due to COVID, so they had to schedule a time to return after the remaining items were delivered. The scheduling of the follow-up appointment was a bit difficult, and is the only reason I did not give them all 5 stars. I am a DIYer, so I did not have them repair the drywall or finish the entire bath remodel, but I have attached a few pictures anyway. I am a single middle aged woman and I never felt talked down to or taken advantage of. They were wonderful, and I would highly recommend All Affordable Plumbing!"

"Arrived exactly on time - replaced outside kitchen line cast iron and replaced - also replaced our toilet and unclogged a bathroom sink. All work was done perfectly. Excellent customer service, called at 4PM the night before and arrived at exactly 7AM the next morning as promised. "Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. Over time with experience I have gained trust in Mattco Plumbing to get me out of big jams with the plumbing in this old building. Just recently Matt repaired the 2nd floor toilet drain line in the ceiling above my 1st floor bathroom in a very tight spot. I have had other plumbers walk away from the repair or just wanting to do the band aide repair. Matt was able to replace the entire drain line above the ceiling. I watched him do the repair. "I had a slow leak/dripping valve and the main shutoff valve was original and in need of replacement as it was very old and I was afraid of breaking off the handle or it failing when needed. There was also a corroded section of galvanized pipe coming directly out of the old valve so I was worried about it potentially failing at an especially inconvenient time and being unprepared for future emergencies.
Charlie and his assistant showed up as scheduled for their appointment and completed the replacement with an improved configuration. 
Charlie offered some extra observations and pieces of information and advice not all directly related to the job and answered all my questions about the plumbing work.

Before getting the estimate and having the work done, we were expecting a nightmare. Excel Plumbing was amazing from start to finish. They took care of all the paperwork and permitting requests so quickly that the work was started the very next day after contacting them at 5pm the night before! Excellent efficiency. Our yard is beautifully landscaped and the care the workers exercised in doing the excavating was beyond meticulous. They prepared the area with plywood and dug out a perfect ditch. Put in the proper pipes and power cleaned all the lines. They fenced off the work while we had to wait for the village to approve the work. All the neighbors were very impressed by this safety measure and so were we. The work was approved and they replaced all the clay and the preserved top soil just so. Lastly, the put the sod back on that they had removed perfectly to reuse when they were done. Incredible job and incredible price. When they left, it was as if no work had been done out there. We have had neighbors who have had a mess for months after the work was done. We have told all our neighbors who we used and would recommend Excel to everybody."
