Great job Doug!

I can tell you that Doug is a professional. When he came out to quote job, he was
never in a hurry and spent a lot of time explaining what he would do and why. His job
and cleanup afterwards were excellent. The job required running a 220 line for the dryer,
running about a 15' section of pvc vent up the wall and out through the side of the house. He also
ran a 15-20' section of pipe to an existing pipe to drain the washer. When our home was built we had no
stationary tub so we had Doug install one next to the washer. Job included copper pipe hot and cold to both the tub and washer machine. From quote to job completion, you are treated the way you expect to be treated, but more often than not are disappointed.

"Will is the man. My washer was locked and wouldn't open. Newer model Maytag didn't open like the old ones did in the past. I couldn't figure it out to save my life. "During a day when everyone in Pittsburgh was having a leak, they were the only ones to call me back. They came that afternoon to stop the leak and rip out the small area of dry wall. They replaced the part of the roof that needed to be fixed within a week and also repaired the affected area inside the house within a week. I had to call them a few times to remind them to come back to finish the work, but the owner was very sick, so he had a good reason. The job was reasonably priced and they did an A+ job. "Had to file a claim for new clothes dryer, and repairs on fridge. Foothills Star Appliance came to look at both. Eric was the repairman. He was friendly, answered all my questions, and very professional. I would highly recommend his company."

"My dryer stopped spinning, after I heard a thump.  I figured it was a belt.  Called  ACE appliance repair on Monday after checking reports on Angie's list; gave "John" the make & model # of my dryer, so that the repair person would have the proper belt with him.  .Set up an appt. for today (Wednesday)between 10 am & noon.  At 12:30. when no repair person was here or called. I called the company.  The person I spoke with was apologetic, said the tech was running late, & would be here at 2:00.
At 2:00pm  "Joe " appeared as promised, & promptly replaced the dryer belt
The reports on Angie's list quoted a much lower price, so I was surprised at the fee. $90.00 service call, & &20.00 for the part..  I had to use a credit card as I never keep much cash around.  I'm glad Joe was willing to accept that form of payment. 
It tied up most of my day, & I had to cancel plans, but all is well, & my dryer is now functional.
