"DMV Kitchen and Bath just finished the second project at our home. The first in late 2022 was a major upgrade and enlargement of a primary bathroom and creation of a walk-in closet. We love it and it turned out gorgeous. The second project was finished in November 2024 and the results are even better. We needed to repair a room in the basement that had had water damage. We decided to include a variety of other updates for our home at the same time. DMV worked closely with us to bring our vision into existence. In the basement we now have a new fourth bedroom, including 2 large new closets along with new lighting, paint and doors in other rooms on that level. The large laundry room was gutted with new kitchen cabinets and pantries installed along with new lighting. The other 2 bathrooms in the house were upgraded to the same vanities and cabinets as the primary bathroom. Javier provided great assistance helping us with the design, selection of materials, and practicality of various ideas and solutions. David, as leader of the construction crew, was exceptionally good at communicating with us and coordinating and supervising all of the workers involved in the project. David and his staff did great work. We are very pleased with the final project. We highly recommend DMV."

"In a nutshell, we hired DreamMaker because of Steve Everett, and that turned out to be an excellent decision for us.  The heart of the matter is this:  Steve, as it turns out, is the honest man we expected, and he does his business diligently, knowledgeably,  and efficiently.   All that translates into an end result we were thrilled with and no aggravation or nasty surprises for us along the way.
The first thing we noticed is how patiently Steve worked with us to specify our needs in detail - and our need for detail was greater than either his or his competitors.  This is one area where we prefer the DreamMaker approach to contracting:  For very little money up front, we got to see the contract reworked and fleshed out in detail until the project was specified in a way that we were very comfortable with.  At the other end of the spectrum, some contractors handed us a 1 or 2 page contract and said they couldn't tell us more until we signed a $25 or $30K contract - not even draw a picture.  We prefer the DreamMaker way.   
During the project, we knew which days to expect the various subcontractors and inspectors.  All the subs were competent and professional, and they were well-supervised.  We never had to deal with the subs directly , although we could always ask them about something.  But the important thing to us is that we understood what they were doing and why, and we felt comfortable with them in our house.  
We changed our mind about some things about half way through the contract and decided to ask for additional work.  We thought the contract mod process was very fair and reasonable.  We did NOT feel "held up". 
And at the end of the day, we were thrilled with the results.  Everything works right; things look even better than we imagined; we like having been consulted when there was a gray area or a matter of taste involved; and we like that things were completed in a time frame we agreed to.  We had heard so many horror stories about home contracting, but working with DreamMaker and Steve Everett has got to be "as good as it gets!".  We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Our designer introduced us to him when we were searching for help after having another contractor completely ruin our kitchen, living and dining remodel project and losing a lots of money. "I hired Sam to replace the wooden posts and concrete footers supporting my deck and sun room. The job required placing temporary supports under the structures, pouring new concrete footers that came above the dirt line, and installing new wooden posts. I found Sam to be straightforward and honest in explaining what the job technically required, the costs of the work, and what the county would require for permitting. In addition, I encountered unresolved permit issues from the previous homeowner. These issues were unrelated to Sam, but the county refused to issue a permit and this delayed the work. Sam was very patient as I resolved those issues with the county. He even gave me advice on what I could expect from the county as I fixed the issues. Once Sam and his team started work, he made sure I understood the work as they went along. He answered any questions that I had; he explained problems his team found and how they would resolve them to adhere close to the estimate and abide by regulations. "Jose and his team remodeled our master bathroom. They removed the existing tile, tub, and shower and installed a walk in shower, They needed to move the plumbing for the shower and vanity, install a new tile floor, build the shower, install tile for the shower floors, walls, and two niches. They also, repaired all the walls and painted the entire room. Their craftsmanship on the tile work, drywall work, and painting is the best that I have seen. They did an incredible job. They were very professional. They arrived on time every day. Jose is an excellent communicator and took the time to explain any options throughout the project. They put protective material down on all the floors leading to the bathroom and setup a plastic barrier each day to contain the dust. At the end of every day, they cleaned up their work area so that the construction materials and tools were limited to the bathroom itself. We had compete access to the rest of the master bedroom. Very highly recommended and I would not hesitate to contract with Munoz Construction again."
