"The provider was knowledgeable on how to pressure wash a deck constructed with pressure treated wood that had no previous stain applied and what stain products to use for most durable results.  The provider was punctual and noted all the landscaping and house walls that needed to be protected from the spray-applied stain.  The provider knew he was restricted in which lo-voc stains he could use in our region, but did not understand that these restrictions were likely dictated by regulations to protect Chesapeake watershed. 
We were not at home at the time of the work - 1 day of cleaning, several days to dry, and 1 day of stain application.  We returned home each time to find the wood cleaning and stain application went well and the landscaping and house was protected as promised.  At the end of the stain application, the upward facing surfaces of the deck were evenly coated and looked great.  The undersides of the staircase and other posts which are visible from underneath had inconsistent application - some were covered in stain completely, some partially, some not at all - which was likely due to spray application. The deck lighting and driveway were not protected as well and had stain on the plastic surfaces (in the case of the lights) and in various places on the asphalt.  We cleaned the drips on the lights, but the stain could not be lifted from the asphalt.  The stain on the asphalt has not contributed to any long term issues with the driveway surface in the last 1.5 years.
Overall, this company did what we needed to have done at a fair price. The quote was right in the middle of the three we requested and we are likely to use this provider for a deck care needs in the future.  With a little more attention to detail, finish and full protection to the entire ground area, and this company would rate all As.
