"Jose and his crew are outstanding. Their attention to detail, cleanliness, and respect of our home was incredible. Jose is so easy to work with and he is accessible almost 24/7. I would highly recommend Munoz construction and my family will never use another contractor besides Jose. Bathroom #1 - this bathroom had major issues. The floor was damaged and the shower was leaking. Jose replaced the entire subfloor, shower/tub, title, vanity, and all electrical. This was a major job. Everything was strengthened and given strong structural support. It is now extremely safe and beautiful. Bathroom 2 - the master shower also had a leak and poor tile work from a previous remodel. Jose replaced all the tile and rebuilt the shower pan. He was able to save an expensive shower door from the previous remodel. We also decided to replace the title floor during the remodel and it was not an issue and Jose never questioned our request. LVP Floors - Jose replaced the kitchen, dining room, hallways, and stairs with LVP. Selecting the product was simple and Jose was helpful throughout the entire process. The product was of high quality and is extremely durable. The stairs were replaced with wood and painted to match the LVP. This was done for durability and quality. The stairs match the LVP perfectly. All the walls were also painted. There was some drywall repair throughout the process too. Jose made sure to strengthen all the walls and it looks fantastic. Seriously, we couldn’t be happier with this job. I wish we would have found him years ago so we wouldn’t have had to redo a previously completed renovation done by another company. We highly recommend Jose and Munoz Construction for any and all jobs."

"We are extremely happy with the work done by Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). Overall they did an amazing and outstanding job! They had a contractor on site, on time every day. Brian S. was professional, helpful, patient, hard working and skilled both in managing subcontractors and doing work himself. I trusted him with our home and would work with Brian/TCB again easily. I have already recommended their company to others. TCB renovated a few parts of our house, added electricity to a shed and added an entire master bedroom suite on an additional floor (adding approximately 550 sqft to our house). They finished earlier than expected. Our neighbors couldn't believe how fast the addition was completed and how well done. Any additional costs from the original budget estimate were due to our choice to add more work. I waited to write a review. I wanted to live in the addition for a little while to see how everything holds up. We have had only minor things arise and have been very pleased with the responsiveness of Brian and TCB to come back out and check on things. They came back to add a bracket to a new countertop that moved slightly, they shaved a door that was sticking as the weather changed, they fixed the damage done when carpets were installed by another company, they arranged for a rep from the hot water heater company to come out and fix a noise issue, all done at no additional cost to us. I have worked with contractors before but nothing on this level. It wasn't perfect, there were concerns that came up. I had to learn that this was major construction and with major construction comes mess. Brian and his team addressed our concerns and remedied any issue fairly. With so many negative stories I've heard from people who worked with other companies, I am so very thankful that we had such a good experience and ended up with such an amazing master suite and changes to our home. We love it and we receive many compliments. We chose to work with TCB because they came highly recommended by a neighbor who had similar work done and were very satisfied with their outcome."

"We loved working with DreamMaker. We had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted our kitchen and dining area to look like, but were unsure if it was going to be possible and what materials should be used. Mr. Everett listened closely to what we wanted and delivered in every aspect. He was able to rearrange our kitchen so that the flow is much better and provide us with custom built-in shelves and bench. He not only pointed us in the right direction for the big things like counter-tops, but also for the backsplash, drawer pulls, and lighting fixtures. All our work was done efficiently and Mr. Everett's team went above and beyond whenever an unexpected problem occurred. I am confident that all the work was done thoroughly and that I will not have any problems in the foreseeable future. The same team arrived promptly at my house every day and worked diligently so that the job was done in the time frame originally quoted to us, despite some additional plumbing work that was necessary. Because the same workers were in my house everyday, I felt comfortable coming and going and knew that my house was in good hands. If I ever had a question or concern about anything, I would text Mr. Everett and he would always get back to me very quickly, even on the weekends or at night. He was also very quick to come to the house if anything was ever needed. I have not experienced such great customer service with any other company. The materials used for our new kitchen are beautiful, and I feel that we had everything done for a very fair price. I would highly recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen because of their ethics in every regard. "This was our second bathroom remodel by Capstone. The Team did a great job. Their tile work, both in the shower/tub area and on the bathroom floor is fantastic. We had new electrical outlets installed along the vanity and wanted an existing one on the side hall wall removed. Capstone noticed that we did not have an outlet in the hall and suggested moving the existing bathroom outlet down and around to face the hall rather than just not use it. Their thoughtfulness and suggestions set them apart."

"Rick and his Before and After Home Improvement “All-Star Team” provided outstanding professional work in replacing the water damaged posts supporting my deck and the design and work to complete a stamped concrete patio, walkway, and front porch. Our property sits on a hill such that water from our neighbor’s yard drains into our own with some of it settling against our house under the deck. The deck was constructed about 20 years ago with part of the wooden posts buried in the ground. Although the wood was pressure treated, over time, the marshy ground had compromised the integrity of the deck support posts. We had contacted several contractors to request proposed estimates. Some were unresponsive. Others would not fully address our concerns about correcting the water drainage and adding additional concrete to anchor the new deck support posts above ground. Rick was by far, the most responsive. He listened to our concerns and based upon his 45+ years of experience, provided several recommendations for correcting the damaged deck posts and the drainage issues on our property. He gave us a prompt and reasonable estimate. His team went to work right away. We were so pleased with the results that we discussed the idea of the patio and walkway. Again, Rick listened to our ideas and provided excellent recommendations to move us to a beautiful design. Upon contract award, Rick’s team went to work immediately. Rick himself visited the site on a daily basis and communicated with us on the progress. When we suggested some changes, he was very flexible and responsive. "Best contractor I ever worked with is Marvel Homes, (301) 785-2171, a small firm owned and run by Devin Nasvaderani, truly one of the nicest, most knowledgeable, most organized and honest people I have ever worked with. I have done three projects with him, and been thrilled beyond expectation each time. Devin's is the firm I chose to rebuild the damaged portions of my house after a big fire there. Because we had been through so many problems with other contractors leading up to the rebuilding - despite checking them out and watching them closely - we were REALLY careful before selecting the contractor who would do the rebuilding. We read EVERY single detailed review on Angie's List, we interviewed the top "contenders," and chose Marvel Homes. Even with all of this high expectation, I was blown away by the experience of working with someone who is honest down to his bones, cares about the quality of his work down to the smallest details, is a phenomenally good carpenter with a small crew of stellar, hard-working people he trained himself, was spot-on with every time estimate and cost estimate - and for all of this is relaxed and warm at the same time. They say at the end of a long project with even a good contractor you are "sick of each other" by the end - on the contrary, I was actually sad when the work was done, that's how positive the experience was. In fact, when we needed to replace old windows at my family's house, and I wanted to winterize my screened porch, I chose Marvel Homes for each of those projects and the experience was every bit as positive. I will give details that may help give you a fuller picture of our positive experiences with this business. 1). Many contractors we spoke to came with glossy brochures and polished salesmen. Devin came himself, no glitz or fake conversation, looked at the job with what was clearly a trained eye, and answered all of my questions honestly and to whatever detail I needed. After all we had been through, I had gotten so sick of the "schmoozy" soft-sell/hard sell routine of the bigger companies who talked a lot without saying anything, this was like a breath of fresh air on a stuffy day. 2). His low-key demeanor may fool you. Devin is the most skillful and experienced carpenter/craftsmen and most organized contractor I ever met. He looks with a trained eye at every aspect of the job, and is clear and up front down to the smallest details. He wakes up at 5 each morning and before he leaves for his first job or meeting, he has a print-out of each and every thing he needs to do or discuss on each job, site, or client he will meet with that day. Unlike many good contractors who are not so good with paperwork, Devin's paperwork was so helpful all throughout the project, for planning, knowing when we needed to make choices of materials, knowing when to expect which aspect of the job, knowing breakdown of costs - everything. 3). He does it right. Even if it costs him, he absorbs the cost to get it right. In contrast to the companies that would spend hours talking to me without providing any detail or accurate estimates at all, Devin spent 40 hours of work on his own time without getting paid for it, in order to get accurate estimates and details on each aspect, so I knew exactly what to expect time-wise, and cost-wise, so the insurance estimate would be spot-on, etc. 4). When the refrigerator came, I had chosen a bigger one than we had planned for. The island was already in, but Devin was concerned that with the few extra inches of the refrigerator, the smaller aisle space might be annoying when we would be using it, moving about the kitchen, etc. He arranged to meet me at the house to see what I thought, and then suggested we move the island a few inches back. Despite the fact that I was the one who had chosen that particular refrigerator, he did not charge me for the cost of moving the island, even though I suggested that that was only fair. He said something like, "the job isn't done into you are happy, and we get it right." Who does that? 5). His small crew is terrific. He has trained all of them, and treats them well, so they form a really cohesive team. They arrived on the dot when they said they would, and they left the work area and house cleaner than when they arrived. The respect they showed for me and my things was remarkable, which blew me away after having worked with companies that treated my house like their own work space, without regard for the people or things in it. 6). We had to work with insurance on the big job. Devin's estimate was so "on point" that there was no dispute over any of it, the insurance issued the check without delay. His time estimates of when a part of the job would be done were true and exact, making it possible for us to plan around when certain parts of the job would be done. And his cost estimate was exact also. He is licensed and bonded. He does things by the book, and in fact, the only "negative" comment we ever found for him on Angie's List is "he refuses to use cheap materials." Thank goodness he doesn't. There were so many things I noticed after I moved back home that I never would have noticed while the job was underway, so many corners a less honest or less skilled contractor could have cut that would have slipped by me until long after they were paid and gone. I can't tell you how many times I felt so grateful that we had found Devin. The fire was a nightmare in so many ways, but I have often said that finding Devin and Marvel Homes more than made up for it. His reputation for excellent, by the book, safe work was clearly known to county inspectors, and every inspection went smoothly, without surprises or problems. After you have had a fire, you especially appreciate a contractor that does it safely, and right. He charges a fair price for high quality work. Before Devin I used to try to get things done at cheaper prices. The work was cheap and I would have to supervise every inch and every minute of it to be sure, and even then, I got burned. Devin told me once that a large portion of his jobs are coming in and doing it right after someone cheaper botched it up. Having now worked with a company where I didn't need to supervise ANYTHING to get a proper, careful, skilled result and promised result, I will never go back to the other way."

"Awesome experience with Total Renovations, LLC. Knowledgeable, responsive, considerate, patient, went above and beyond, informative, a true professional and fair. These are all qualities that were consistently adhered to when working with Russell and his team at Total Renovations, LLC. Having never gone through a home renovation process, we were a little bit skeptical as to which company we wanted to hire to undertake the task of transforming a two-story living room area in our home into a space which converted the upper portion into an additional bedroom. After an extensive search, we found Total Renovations , LLC and its owner, Russell. From day one, which was actually a few months before we hired him and his team, Russell was extremely pleasant to work with. I called and informed him of the task we were wanting to have completed, as well as the fact that we were new to this experience. He was very patient in explaining the entire process from start to finish. Once we had a signed contract between ourselves and Total Renovations, LLC, Russell took it from there. If anything came up in the project where a particular aspect needed to be changed or corrected based off of the initial assessment, Russell always made sure to reach out to us immediately to explain the reason as to why, as well as obtain permission to proceed. That particular point was extremely reassuring, whereas some other companies may just add extra work to your project without notifying you and then hit you with an inflated bill at the end. At no point in time did Russell ever try to oversell me on any aspect of the project, nor did he brush aside any issue that other companies may feel to be trivial. If we had a question or a concern, Russell had an answer or a solution. Russell and his team were able to take a vision that we had in our heads for our open space, and literally turn it into a reality. Additionally, we were able to add in some recessed lighting and ceiling fans along the way. The attention to detail that his crew invested into our project was above and beyond even our own expectations. It truly feels like we are living in a new house.
