"We have used Complete Tree Services in the past and have been very pleased. It took a whole day to complete the work. In the process of grinding the stump a sprinkler head was destroyed. Complete Tree returned in a couple of days and repaired the damaged sprinkler head. Their work is top-notch."

"This was the second time I called Clark Irrigation. The first time, they fixed lead for me with pretty good result and price. This time I was not satisfied with the job. It turned out the rain sensor may be bad but the controller was the main problem. They discovered the controller was bad only after installed the rain sensor. For both parts, they only provide limited choice. Replacing both would cost me $500. So I paid for the job already done with a still not working sprinkler system. I installed the controller myself. When I shopped for the controller, I also found out the rain sensor is priced pretty high. In the future if I get the same problem, I will buy parts first. If they are not the problem, I can always return them."

"We looked around for about a year or so to find a good sprinkler installer. We discovered many had gotten out of this business market. However, thanks to Angie's list we found one and also received a great deal on the quote (Sept., off-peak work)! Woods did the full, professional job: layout design for review with the quote; answered our questions (since we are new to having this type of lawn feature); and on the day of the job: thorough trenching (even under sidewalks and into the plant beddings); they used high quality components (heads & springs). We couldn't be happier! I waited sometime after the job for my review, to assure my happiness was well warranted: it is! Woods does a fantastic job in sprinkler systems design & installation."

"The price charged by them was $2000. Mr. Slater himself came out, measured the lawn and drew up the plan for us. They submitted it to the city for approval. So, he did all that very efficiently. Then they came out and put the sprinkler system in one day, which was very nice. Mr. Slater then came out and explained how to run the system and everything else to us. Overall, it was a really good experience. It’s kind of hard to judge with the heat and the drought as to how well it works, but it does work. They are due to come out and do the annual check. They had a coupon where we got the rain sensors free along with the system. So, it helped us with the price too. If it rains, the system doesn’t go off."

"I believe Phillips is simply the best, most competent, most professional, most reliable company in the Metroplex. Mark Patterson planned the 12-station system I need for my garden in May 2001, giving excellent advice (as, "no, you really shouldn't ignore those strips between sidewalk and street"), including shrub risers, soaker hose, and regular pop-up heads as needed for different locations, and originally leaving one station open for a small addition I planned to install later. He planned for garden growth. The system is still perfect after 14 years, with excellent, efficient water distribution as plantings have matured. <br /> Over time, Phillips has added in that last station (to cover a small kitchen garden area) and made a number of minor repairs as needed. Repairs were for such things as station 6 electric valve replacement, and the time I sliced through a line while digging a new planting hole, not defects needing correction but repairing the the effects normal wear-and-tear over the years. <br /> Basically, Mr. Phillips' colleagues and employees are really, really good at what they do, and they do it with absolute integrity as well as deep knowledge of horticulture and landscaping principles. <br />"

"<p>When Zach and Cole arrived at my home, they diligently went right to work, debugging the issue I was having. They quickly discovered a cut wire that had disrupted our sprinkler system. They not only repaired the wire, they also raised and tuned the sprinkler heads throughout my entire yard. Their service was definitely superior, and I will certainly be calling them again in the future. </p> <br />"

"We were very pleased from the very beginning.  We contacted 3 companies to get estimates.  Chris from BNC contacted us immediately to set up an appointment for the estimate.  One of the other companies never called us back and the other company called initially, though didn't call for weeks to schedule an appointment.  Chris was very knowledgeable of the system and the cities requirements.  He was also very professional.  He was upfront and let us know that they were probably not the cheapest but assured us that the job would be done correctly.  Due to the rain the actual installation had to be delayed, though Chris kept in contact with us and installed the system as soon as the weather allowed.  During the initial install, one small area was missed though they came back immediately to install once it was discovered.  Chris was very thorough in explaining the operations of the new system and has made himself available for any questions that we have.  The system has worked just as promised and our yard is looking great. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Farmersville, TX

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
