"I will say the gentleman I dealt with from Cronkhite was very personable and professional. We met twice - once for him to look at the deck and take measurements, and again a week or so later so he could give me the price quote - and he was on time, or close to on time, for both appointments. For me this was strictly an issue with pricing. I wanted a cover over my approximately 10x12 deck. He provided me with a quote of $6,224 for an aluminum cover (this included rain gutters, etc. - it would have been a very nice cover judging from the photo examples he showed me). But 4 years ago a metal roof for my entire house installed by Sundown Exteriors was only $8,955. Granted, I don't have a huge house - two bedroom, one bath, one story - but I just couldn't justify spending almost 70% of the cost of my entire roof for a deck cover. But if you have the money to spend, I'm sure they do very nice work."

"Although kitchen cabinet work was my most recent project, I have used Chuck Milliman, Jr. over the past year for numerous other projects involved in the rehab of my 106 yr old house. He has placed/ framed in a new awning window in a bedroom, adding cedar shingles to the outside as needed, as well as placed and framed a window, where there was none, in my dining room. "Work completed as agreed to, in reasonable timeframe (one week). Nice job on patching drywall after tub replacement. Would like to see a little more coordination with plumbing to put same care and attention to detail as Joe, and keep work tools organized/out of the way of living space after hours. We did have some clean-up to do after the job was done (drywall dust, dirt, minor debris), but overall good experience and quality work. Joe was responsive to questions and minor issues that we pointed out day to day."

"Steve and crew did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and making it handicap accessible. My Dad is moving back home with me after recovering from hip surgery and has some mobility challenges so I was needing something a little more than your standard remodel. However, Steve and team were able to come up with the right solution pretty much on their own. The number of and placement of handicap bars is spot on. Other details like the color of tile and layout were decided by Steve and crew, which turned out beautifully. Steve was very flexible working with my schedule and dealing with any changes that came up during the project. He did a great job adjusting to those changes, relaying to his workers what should be done, and coming up with cost-effective and practical solutions where alterations were needed or problems arose. Steve is not only passionate about what he does but when you add in the high quality of workmanship and affordable price together it makes for a very satisfying total experience. The bathroom remodel was completed satisfactorily and within the needed time frame.
