"The Babcock's have worked on our home over the past six years. From remodeling, to renovation, to repair work. In 2017 they installed a tremendous flagstone and brick courtyard which truly brought the house and garden together. The Babcock family are honest, professional, hardworking people, dedicated to pleasing their clients and a delight to work with. We highly recommend the Babcock's, not only for their building expertise but also for their friendship."

"Since we had a set budget for the project we wanted built we decided not to go with this contractor.  If there was a way for us to do so we would have gone with Mr. Baxter.  He is very professional and respectful.  I feel that his materials providers are a little high on their pricing.  That was our main problem with the bid and he just couldn't come down any more on the total price. <br />"

"Chuck and his crew showed up 5 mins. early everyday and were ready to start accomplishing the goal for the day. Compared to a previous contractor I worked with, they probably got 140% done each hour on the job. He listened to my questions/concerns/change requests and overall had a "can do" attitude. Basically, he was focused on getting the job done correctly and as efficiently as possible and was a pleasure to work with."

"Chris was on time and great to work with.  He installed hardware to all our kitchen cabinets and replaced the kick board under the kitchen cabinets.  Chris fixed some loose boards in the upstairs bathroom and also reinforced one of the closets.  I will use Advance Concept Construction again.  Thank you. <br />"

"It took longer than they said it would but then they did not charge me at all because of their delays. I really appreciated them making up for the delay. I always use this company! They are the best in town! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Farmington, NM

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
