"They were able to get me scheduled very quickly so I would not be without heat for long. Other companies had long waits or would charge a significant after hours fee. They even called other times to see if I was available to get to me sooner. The tech arrived on time and tuned the repair call into a service call when the furnace started working. It was determined the furnace needed parts and the tech scheduled a bid for a new furnace when the estimate of $1500.00 was given for a new motor and heat exchanger. The bid for new furnace and installation from Pacific was $6800.00. I went with another company when I received another bid of $3000.00."

"Ranger did a great job. The estimators were friendly and thorough, the installers and team we encountered were all respectful and hard working. There was a problem with the electronics in the thermostat from the factory, they worked late and had to bring a new thermostat the next day, but the new one works perfectly. We will hire again for any other HVAC needs. We chose a higher quality AC unit and are glad we went with a quieter model, the unit is so quiet in the backyard."

"WHEN WE CALLED ABOUT OUR AIR CONDITIONING PROBLEM, THEY TOLD US WHAT THE COST WAS TO COME OUT, BUT COULD NOT GIVE US AN ESTIMATE OF CHARGES, OVER THE PHONE, FOR THE REST OF THE SERVICE. WHEN THEY CAME OUT THEY FOUND THAT THE FLUID THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FILLED, WHEN THE SYSTEM WAS PUT, IN HAD NOT BEEN FILLED COMPLETELY, SO THEY FILLED IT. IT ENDED UP BEING SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN WHAT WE THOUGHT IT MIGHT COST. SINCE WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT AIR CONDITIONERS THEY COULD HAVE TOLD US ANYTHING, BUT DIDN'T."

"I had three estimates at our house for our conversion from a gas forced-air furnace to a heat pump/gas furnace installation.  I was most impressed by Evergreen's rep. Scott, as he was very helpful in explaining the technology and was the only one of the three to do a J load calculation on our home.  I also felt after the estimates were all given that Evergreen's was the best buy in terms of the product features vs. overall cost.  As I researched our installation I realized that my mother's all-electric home would be better served by a heat pump as well.  Again, Scott did the best job of all three estimators there as well. Â
After the down payment of 50% of the cost the installation was set up within two weeks for both locations.  The work was done on time and efficiently.  My mother's job was done in a few hours, mine took a couple of days.  I'm happy to say that both units are performing perfectly, through both the colder weather of March and the warmer than usual days we've had in April. Â
There were a couple of things that should be mentioned, not major issues but worth noting. Â
The installation of our heat/pump and furnace did not meet City Code on the initial inspection as the condensation pump was placed on the floor. Â City code required it to be 18 inches off the floor due to a potential for an explosion should there be a gas leak. Â The correction was done within a few days, but I did have to schedule a city inspector on two different days. Â The city inspector remarked that the installer 'should have known better'. Â
On my mom's split heat pump the indoor blower unit began making a loud clanking noise one month into use. Â Evergreen was quick to come out, mom called on Sunday morning and was able to have a crew come out the next day. Â Apparently the installers had missed a mounting clip on the external cover of the indoor unit and over time the casing sagged enough that the rotating fans began to hit the inside of the case. Â
Several weeks after our work was done I was called by the financial office asking me to pay the remaining 50% balance. Â I pointed out that it had been paid on the day the work was done, but apparently the payment was not correctly registered as having been paid by their accounting office. Â Fortunately I was able to point to my credit card statement indicating that the balance had been paid in full. Â
Overall Evergreen did a professional job from start to finish and I have no hesitation in recommending them.  Given their expertise and experience I have no doubt that my equipment will continue to be well serviced going forward.  "

"Daniel and his crew at SOS are everything you want in a service provider: affordable, thorough, friendly, experienced, and efficient! We got four bids for a full clean-out of our crawlspace. Three of the four estimators gave us a similar assessment (the fourth missed some big issues). Daniel did a thorough inspection, clearly explained what needed to be done, answered all of our questions, and provided us with a bid that was significantly less than his competitors (and it's no wonder - the larger providers have nice company cars, glossy folders, and fancy CD's).
We scheduled the clean-out for a few days later (the larger companies were scheduling 1 1/2 to 2 weeks out). Daniel's team arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and did an excellent job. Because there was one small area under some steps that was difficult to access, Daniel returned a few days later to complete the job. However, he wouldn't take any payment until he was sure that we were completely satisfied with the work! It was clear to us that customer satisfaction is a top priority for SOS.
If you want the job done right for a fair price, we highly recommend SOS!

"G&S did an excellent job installing our new furnace and AC unit. The best thing about G&S is that they warranty for 1 year. The circuit board in our furnace failed within a couple of months (no fault of G&S). Manufacturers warranty would cover the parts cost but G&S repaired and covered labor cost under their warranty. Also they diagnosed the issue and repaired very quickly. Definitely A++ installation and service."

"We'd used them four years ago to replace our windows. They were about 40% the cost of Renewal By Andersen for the same Andersen windows, were professional and courteous throughout the process, and we haven't had a single problem since. So when we wanted to put in a heat pump system for efficient heating and cooling they were high on our list. We got four bids, and once again they were the least expensive, in this case by a 30% margin. They explained our options well, came up with some creative solutions (we're an old house with old vent-work which they bypassed for the ductless pumps but used for a top quality air filter), and did the job quickly and efficiently. They've checked back a couple of times since to make sure everything is ok, which it is, and it's been really nice to heat our bedroom on some cold nights and cool my western facing home office on some sunny afternoons). When the permit inspector asked before they came over who our installer is and I told them, they said "They do really good work." Definitely recommend them to others and in fact already have."

"They installed the product faster than expected and were very professional. I noticed after they left that my backyard was actually CLEANER. They took the time to actually pick up some empty water bottles and trash that a previous work crew had carelessly left in the yard. When they had to move items in my garage they were carefully moved and actually organized better on the opposite wall. I asked that they leave them there. The unit is working great and I am amazed at the gallons of humidity it has removed from my home. I compare this to another big name company that I used to install air conditioning in my previous home. I went with the price and the big name. But I have learned that in central air it is really the installation that matters. My previous unit failed inspection and they had to come out and fix problems. When the fan came on there was a big 'bang' from the plenum over the furnace bulging out. They had not allowed a large enough air opening to get to the furnace so there was a whistling sound. Sure, it cooled the house but you really knew when it came on. I highly recommend Mercurio's for their installation work especially."
